@@Eternally_Moon The song was written by our old friend Sherm Kelly who recorded it with his band Boffalongo in 1969. We took a shot at it a couple years later and it became a US hit in 1973.

I was walking around Lisbon looking for souvenirs with my wife the other day. This song was playing in one of the stores we went to. I didn’t like anything in there, but my wife decided to check out every inch of that store. I didn’t care because I was feeling this groove. Different enough, but captures the essence of the original perfectly.
