A real OG. Love seeing this side of Jordan’s life, just goes to show behind all the marketing & videos he is a real human being with qualities that all people find relatable. I’ve only realized this past year the juice man is religious too tho! His music videos hint at it here and there. I respect him on many different levels but the fact Jordan’s been working to change his public persona on the downlow & shift society’s perception of him takes the cake. I think marriage and fatherhood made him a better man and made him all the wiser. We are all living in a cultural soup called society. Through servitude as a positive role model for the youth, rather than just being a hype man & party guy, The Juice Man will make the world a better place for his child as well as everyone else’s kids.. Juicy likes his drugs & loud music but he is undoubtedly, fundamentally a good man. He has served as a positive role model for me in recent times, being someone who struggled (and continues to struggle) with my own drug problems. The media likes to exaggerate things and make people like him out to be evil or something, as a scapegoat for society’s problems & collective insecurities.. Jordan genuinely good person but people also gotta realize he is paid money to play a character on the albums and music videos. All the Karens out there lack empathy to realize rappers like Juicy can’t start rapping about warm & fuzzy things, because his career would tank overnight. Mature adults can listen to his music and take it or leave it, just like many people approach drugs. There’s a time and a place for it, but you can’t make your whole life about it. I believe Juicy J is smart enough to be aware of the fact his music entices people to take drugs and do questionable things; the man’s dad is a church pastor and his moms a librarian. He comes from a solid family with good morales. But this world is fucked up, and his music reflects that. The fact he became so popular is a bigger testament to society’s shortcomings, rather than Juicy’s own shortcomings as a human being, a father and a loyal husband. It’s in the best interests of the elites to push materialism and hedonism onto us because they have resources invested into all aspects of society. Every time we spend money, someone profits off our asses. People these days are obsessed with chasing money & materialistic assets and that is by design. The people in power need us to continue slaving away at work and being productive members of society, while spending money we don’t have on shit we don’t need, fighting our fellow man and living in constant fear of crime, viruses, financial hardships and so on.. many people resort to drugs as a means of fighting off existential crisis & the paradox of living in a society that offers unparalleled human potential while simultaneously dispensing unimaginable human suffering on the lives of the poor. Rich and poor, white black n Chinese; crime, drugs and alcohol affect people from all walks of life.. for better & for worse.. Drugs are a paradox. Being an artist myself, doing drugs has introduced suffering to my life but conversely, also provided me moments of unparalleled clarity and a vision to follow through on with hard work, determination and surrounding myself with the right people. Hard work and genuinely good friends are the key to success. In Jordan’s case, Three Six Mafia provided was a launch pad for his solo career. Not many people know this, but group split up because they were all strung out doing drugs together all the time and it was affecting their mental health. Faced with the prospects of massive success and big money, Juicy needed to distance himself to keep it together. I relate to him on many levels and he is a role model of sorts, being that I have similar problems and struggle with the paradox of recreational drug use in regards to chasing my creative potential as a video artist. Drugs are not necessary to be a successful artist but they can help you overcome “writers block” when producing music, written work and especially visual art. It’s not for everyone, but with experience you come to realize what substance(s) you vibe with, and what to take to put you “in the zone” - and when you get in that sweet-spot, some people are able to produce remarkable works of art that normal people deem unimaginable. Drugs: they are not all bad. Not all-good either, but there is something to say for middle ground there. Successful people like Juicy are a testament to that. The man is a genius and massively successful.. though he himself has said in the past that it almost didn’t turn out that way. In a parallel universe he would be dead or in prison..
