I remember Jules did an interview where he was asked why Tom Brady had a difficult time building rapport with newer/younger receivers and he said it's because "kids these days can't be "motherf@$ked" they don't like being yelled at when they screw up and Tom isn't shy about letting you know that you messed up and need to be better"

Brady has been described as the guy who will mother fuck you up and down the field and at the same slap your ass and call you babe up and down the field. It’s no wonder why he and BB became the most successful HC/ QB duo. Especially since Tom has said so many times that he wanted to be taught and coached the hardest out of anyone because “ if I can improve even 1 percent from what I’m being taught, I want that 1 percent. That 1 percent is the difference between another SB or losing because that’s all it is. Getting another ring or getting sent home without one “ he was then asked the famous question “ tom which ring is your favorite “ and he said “ the next one”.

I appreciate this thoughtful conversation. My dad pushed me constantly similar to Julian’s, a very disciplined upbringing, so I can relate and appreciate. My dad passed in April and his hard-hitting lessons hit differently and even deeper now. I miss him so much but am so grateful I was blessed with this kind of father. Love you forever Daddio 🙏🏼💙

Jon is really an incredibly underrated interviewer he’s looked at like a meathead by a lot of people and to an extent he is but he asks such specific and in depth questions that demand a very in depth answer it allows no room for “in general” answers and makes for a great interview

5:00 hit home when he was talking about his dad, and how he never had his father around. I was the same, going to practice would kill me seeing the dads coach there sons.. I stopped wanting to play in middle school even though coaches knew my ability was special. Started playing again in highschool my junior year, 6’3 180 pounds never lifted a weight and my confidence was shit. Had players and coaches saying I wasn’t trying, I could be the best player on the team which confused me. The QB even said he’d never throw me the ball. 3 years after graduating highschool, I ended up seeing an Arena football tryout in Orlando so I decided to transfer to UCF lol. The try out was legit the day after I moved in my apt, it was about 150 people, bunch of players that didn’t get drafted. I hadn’t started a football game since 6th grade lol At the tryout I ended up running a 4.5 based on technic I watched in a UKposts video the week before, my start was horrible.. I made some great catches in 1 on 1’s that had everyone ooing and awwing, and a big 60 yd bomb that I had nearly 10 yds of cushion on that I caught after doing 360 degree adjustment. Can’t teach speed. I ended up getting a call back a few weeks into the season, I trained with the team for 6 weeks as they made a playoff run. Basically wake up at 5 am, get to the stadium at 6 am in time for team meetings, finish around 12 where I’d leave to go take my classes at school. They were loaded at receiver to with Bobby sippo, doug gaberial and tt toliver.. cool thing was, all these guys were ok that i basically had no experience and they said your hear bc they see something in you. After the playoff loss, the head coach Pat O’Hara was let go, and my connect to the organization was gone. After that I started playing rugby at UCF, with the goal of getting to the Olympics by 2016 on the national 7’s team.. i had been playing rugby for almost 10 years at that point, but I ended up losing eligibility before our season and the team went on to win back to back D1 championships without me which would of been an amazing platform for my goals. I’ve always thought, what if I had my dad in my life to guide me and foster my development in sports… Took me awhile to get over not making it, felt like I was wasting my ability. I’ll always have that what if feeling, but can’t wait to be there for my kids in whatever they want to achieve.

my highschool football team had 1 coach exactly lik Julians dad, dip in the bottom lip and motherfucking someone constantly but if u cracked and gave it EVERYTHING u had. u quickly became one of his favorites. a wealth of knowledge for the game of football along with the gritty tenacity it takes to create vicious defenders. I was his starting SS, hope he's doing well man.

Jon bernthal I know you're really sick of hearing it by now, but your role as Shane in TWD was a masterpiece man. I can remember the bathroom buzz cut scene after the school supply run like it was yesterday. You really sell the emotions that character is feeling in every little action. I really had complex thoughts and feelings about the character the whole way through. Couldn't ever land on a judgement for Shane. But I thought of him in the context of a real person because you made it feel so close to reality.

At almost twice your age we never had a winner Patriot Football till Tom Brady , my brother lived in Foxboro so a lot of losses happened ...The worst was losing 5 Tom Brady shirts in the 2022 Hurricane in Ft. Myers ,all flooded mud water and 3 cars destroyed , But life goes on we have Eidetic memories anyway nothing is lost ,ask every electronic company I worked at doing 7 times more than anyone , like Will Hunting but my Chevy Nova was 4 years old and I drove a Corvette to Florida , Sla'inte !!!

I'm the same age as Edelman, played pop warner when the divisions were still nicknamed pee wees and midgets. Back then we used to do bull in the ring as little 8-10 year olds, for Halloween they would put a couple of pumpkins out on the field and make us run out and punch them to a pulp. Not sure what that actually did, but it sure was different
@Bignuts13
@Bignuts13 Рік тому
Man I totally understand the disciplined asf pop Warner days although my uncle was my coach, not my dad. We won 3 championships from 7-12 years old, then I won 2 more in 7th & 8th for the middle school then we got to the highschool and they were like 3-7 or 4-6 the year before and just played absolutely trash, anyway me and 17 other freshman made varsity and took that team from 4-6 to 8-2 and in the playoffs the very next year, then we went 9-1,10-0,& then 9-1 again in our last 3 seasons, but we never were able to get another real championship bc we lost in the second round of the playoffs every goddamn year due to a bunch of injuries or soft ass players that didn’t get to play the position they wanted pouting and refusing to play their current positions with any heart or grit what so ever. Js if you were coaching a 6’0 177 pound dude that ran a 4.4 40, had a 31 inch vertical and couldn’t throw a football more than 20-25 yards, are you gonna play him at QB or are you gonna have him be a WR/DB hybrid? That just goes to show you how hard it is to be a college/pro player tho we won 4 straight division titles, went 12-0 against our 3 county rivals, turned a terrible program around, made the playoffs for 4 straight years (something that hadn’t been done since the mid 70’s) and had one kid on all those teams that got to play D1 ball, and no offense he’s a JR and one of the worst backups on one of the worst teams in the BIG10.

I'm sorry dude but this list is pure ignorance. Or casual i.q Sergei pavlovich is very clearly the biggest power puncher not just In the ufc but in the sport. The guy you picked d lew is strong but sergei literally just knocked him dead like 2 months ago 205- Is not alex but johnny walker. You must've forgot 185- easiest weight class for me, that's khazmat. Hes a wrestler, but has more power than most heavy weights dricuss would be a very close #2. Paulo costa?? Huh? Do you watch mma? Guy has good body kicks but his punch power isn't special 170- kevin holland. For sure. Marty usman? Whhhat? He knocked out a washed masvidal who didn't expect striking. That's wild 155- I like chandler. Love gaethje, but it's a very simple call here, Ira Charles sir. If Justin gaethje says you hit like a truck, your a problem. Remember gaethje Trains with your 170 Pick usman, so if he was stunned by Charles, that means Charles has more power by your 170s biggest puncher 145 is tough, but it's sadiq Yusuf 135- Suga show 125- Daiveson Figgy
