Because the problem here is that many people don't know all the background... she became known in the scene only because she managed to get to Drumcode (and certainly not for her immense musical technical skills/talent) but because from what is rumoured her boyfriend (or ex I don't know) worked or still works on the Drumcode staff... so you know how these things work right?! (a bit like people recommended/favoured by others for jobs in banks or large companies). And do you seriously think that many of these female DJs (nothing against women in general, I'm just objective) if it weren't for them being beautiful, cool and knowing how to expose themselves on social media they would become so strong and famous in the business?! I believe that today the image of an influencer with related communication/social marketing functions more rather than the true art/talent/skills that a person can have (otherwise it doesn't explain how the really good ones stay at home or are ghost producers and all these elusive new artists become increasingly famous and richer despite not even knowing how to turn on a computer in the studio).
