one of the all time great (and controversial) boxing debates.... what would it have been like if it were the 5 horseman, with a prime Floyd in the mix to contest and he fought all 4 fighters at least once a piece? No matter what anyone says they would all be amazing match-ups, each damn one, with those 4 fighters forcing Floyd to fight at his absolute best, something I honestly don't think any of us ever saw. I believe it was either Floyd or SOG, who said that he had never faced anyone who made him go to that different place, where he truly had to unlock his treasure chest and unleash tools which he had never been forced to... Which is the idea to a true perfectionist on that level. I mean. the goal is to win. period. There is no other objective when it comes to the actual fight, and as SOG famously- and in my opinion wisely said- " The last thing I ever want to be in is a fight of the year". Both guys sound pretty damn good when they talk now. Then again so does Duran and Leonard.
