Hi Levi - You could use spray under coating for after you have laid your new floor down to really protect the under side of the bus (tiny home) from road surface weather :) Also remember to use All available spaces for storage or tanks or cabinets and remember to be total DIY and a hands on engineer....... Keep going strong, don't get discouraged you're on the right track I know because despite my severe nerve damage in my legs I built a custom ladder rack with a rear hoist (to help with lifting) for the back of my 94 ford ranger XLT 4wd

Levi I don’t think you are lazy. What I see is you get anxiety if things don’t go exactly right and it seems you get overwhelmed easily. Nothing wrong with any of that my friend, you are human and we all have obstacles to overcome. When you get anxious or overwhelmed, take a break and rethink what you’re doing before proceeding. And best advice ever: stop worrying about what other people think of you; it’s none of your business what people think of you. What people think of you is their problem. You have got this my man! Just keep going and if you make a mistake, you can fix it and you learned something new.

Never give up you can get it done just keep pushing when it gets hard and you'll get it.

Its good to take time off so you don't burn out. Some good flooring material would be luxury vinyl floor. Its waterproof, doesn't scratch up, easy clean up and good if you get a pet.

Suggestion on flooring. Check local flooring stores for hardwood, laminate, etc flooring REMNANTS. Most usually sell leftover opened boxes at a huge discount. Sometimes even free. Worth calling around and asking stores in your area. I'm not talking about home depot, Lowes, etc. I'm talking the stores that only sell flooring and install outlets. Those places usually have remnants in stock.

Keep shining bright and I can relate but I try to give myself a list thats realistic and then force myself to just start with 1 thing and before I know it I'm busting it out. the reflectix only has an R value if you leave a gap at least 1/4" on both sides. So in other words if you just lay it down and then put flooring on top of it the only thing you gain is a vapor barrier.

I love the vinyl plank flooring. Lifeproof is one of the brand names. I put it in my guest house and it’s amazing. I’m planning to put it in my van. Waterproof, easy to clean and very durable. It cuts with a utility knife and installs very easy. It looks like real wood, too!

I'm a connoisseur of duct tape.I love me some fancy so I'm a gorilla tape kinda gal.( that didn't come out right) I curse flex tape! U think u screwed up ? I tried it to fix a small leak on the edge of my windshield...it actually allowed more water in and trapped it while causing massive rust and..ugh.. I just want to cry when I think about it..lol one hard lesson learned. I think your adorable and love the fact your sharing.Your learning as you go with us. One day I hope to have a home on wheels.Until then im going to try to live through you learning. I'm so excited! I think the roughest part is going to be surviving the hot summer while you work in a hot metal box.. maybe try a swamp cooler build or just get a block of ice and use it as a chair😉take care of you. stay safe, stay strong 💪 💝🕊

Duct tape will fall off eventually. Get some sheet metal. The wood supports are going to rot.

Ah, duct tape is in my whole life-hack bag. Along with a lump hammer it comes in handy for diy, computer glitches, cooking, dating.....🤔🙄

Levi, hi. Duct tape for underneath… bad idea. I don’t know if it’s financial budget or something else. Duct tape will wear out easily. You need to use metal, galvanized sheets for your bottom floor to keep the elements out. And will protect the inside of your soon to be home. Than lay your wood floor.

I think a vinyl plank flooring or tile that looks like wood and easy to keep clean would be a good floor and look nice. Nice to see you again.

You can use that vinyl tiles the one that you stick on it already comes with adhesive and if it tears up you can replace it easy

I would use the peel and stick vinyl wood look planks, easy to cut, easy to instal and looks great.
