It's so weird to think that it's already 2023. I'm so far behind, but heck, what can I do? I'd rather be a little behind and enjoying life than on time and miserable! So I'm going to be happy this year, taking a step into the world, whether I'm ready or not. Because I'm here for the ride, and I'll follow through on every project I want to start, and I wont be a passenger, I direct this bandwagon to my dreams! New books to read and write, new style and haircut, a promotion, along with new plants and pets I'll welcome to my home. I'm ready for 2023, it better be read for me, because I'm one heck of a driver.

I’ve been at a dark place for the past 2 or 3 weeks, and it seemed as if I’d never be able to get out of it. I struggled a lot just to survive and it affected almost everything in my life. I’ve always been not well, but never have I ever before thought my life would end that miserably. I talked to my sister last weekend, only hoping to release some tension inside me but whatever she told me made me feel lighter: “There’s no need to force yourself to get out of the darkness if you’re not ready for it. It’s okay to take it slow and though it might hurt to go through all off it slowly, it’s still a memorable part of your journey where you truly grow. It’s okay to feel stuck sometimes, because there are endless possibilities in life”. I can’t say I’m totally fine by now, because I still feel the urge to break down every day, but I suppose not forcing yourself to think does feel better. I just found this playlist this morning while crying after talking to my mom (I’m away for college and we sometimes text), and it feels like a hug to me. I hope whoever’s reading this, this playlist feels like a hug to you too, and I personally would love to give you a hug as well. Keep going. I’m proud of you.
