If you'll allow me to overanalyze for a second: I really like how the main boss (Blixer, I guess)'s different forms show the corruption affecting him more and more. His first form just shows anger and rage, and just destroying stuff randomly without really being experienced at it yet. The second form is him having gone insane, basically, and he gets a lot more experienced and methodical with his destruction (e.g. making an entire factory devoted to corrupting stuff), having become obsessed with it. And then in Annihilate, with his final form, he's pretty much lost any semblance of humanity (well, not humanity, but you know what I mean), and has essentially become like an animal or a machine.

Just imagine, given that this specific run took about an hour and a half, imagine how long it probably took to get to there. Because one death means you have to restart.

I love how the corrupted boss fights reflect the level and the corrupted bosses' personality. The corrupted dancing worm in Lycanthropy splashes about and has fun wreaking havoc, the corrupted triangle is mechanic and devoid of emotion, the crying cube wants the player, his friend, and now possessively forces you to remain near him in order to beat the level.

I dont know why, but the "It's not over" part always makes me tear up a bit

I knew the game's art style would be simplistic, but they do so much with it. There's a lot of personality in these shapes; the little square is courageous in the face of its more powerful enemies, but the only way to defeat them is to get help from the triangles, who serve as either faeries or gods; the big square is its best friend, and it meets a small handful of other friends along the way; the villain, who I nickname Circle Jerk, is an intimidating cactus. Even the story is interesting. You defeat Jerk before the title is even shown, but it turns out he was still alive and infects the gods with despair to make himself more powerful. So you have to find and purify the triangles and whatever else was tainted, including your best friend. But Jerk becomes more powerful with every passing moment. When attempt to save the last god, however, Jerk then reinfects them and it in turn kills him, making him even more dangerous. It eventually gets to the point that he utterly eliminates you. It's over. Your friends fall into despair from losing their savior, but defibrillate your shattered form with hope. Such hope gives you a power you never experienced before. Because it's not over till it's over. In terms of gameplay, though, it's practically digital choreography. It's kinda like a more varied version of Undertale, and you're not just playing, you're dancing to the rhythm. It's basically an interactive music video. Edit: Aaaaand apparently this has 500 likes. I was just giving my take on this game, which I honestly enjoyed doing. :)

I like how the sun did absolutely nothing in the game

I think my favorite thing about this game is the fact that it plays with your expectations. You would expect the map screen to just be a map screen, but no, it sometimes turns into a level as well. You would expect to save that sad square and go on, but you have a boss fight. Speaking of, you would expect the last boss to have lost, but he shows up and gets even stronger. Even when you think that you're just gonna get back up and fight, last boss goes "lol nope" and beats you back down. This game plays with you and I love it, it's like what undertale did. Hell even Metal Gear Solid 2 did that.

Oh yeah, the story about how a bunch of shapes made me experiment all happiness and suffering that I won't feel in all my life

Very innovative that the overworld map itself even have actions take place there like as if the map *is a* level. Other games with overworld maps leading to levels frequently have little to no interaction besides moving around, "press a button to enter a level" and possibly enemy encounters (which take you into the level fighting them). Pretty much the map isn't part of the main game. I mean, Super Mario 3D world and Kirby Star Allies *TRIED* to do to make the Map more lively, what they have in common is free roaming and collectible items. Other than that is Kirby Star Allies have easter eggs as the visuals. That's pretty much it. A similar thing applies to RPG games where the game is split between outside (often an overhead top-down view) and battles. Outside of battles consists of moving around, press the button to interact with things, where things like taking damage, and other things that require strategy mostly take place during battles. There are puzzles outside battles, but usually that's like 10%-30% of the game the player is engaged in. By making the map engaging like this, it makes the game more alive. My only complaint is due to the game being short, however, hopefully the developers would add something like a DLC, for example: Bendy and the Ink Machine, where the story are broken into chapters, which really add to the game.
