Still too many players connected to one team in the squad. Others don’t stand a chance.

Scotland still need to do more in primary schools and especially secondary, getting proper licensed coaches in teaching the youth that want to play, coaches who are young and just learning themselves or older retired or almost retired teaching the way! At secondary take out basketball gymnastics etc we don't need that focus on what makes our country tick, football rugby athletics the big stuff, Scotland oor game for how far down the fifa rankings is very poor, why is that and why is every other country getting better yet we are stalling? We will NEVER get bk into top 16 unless SFA is completely restructured and the SPFL as well SFL too all of it from Primary to Secondary by time they leave school and go to Uni or College they should be at least knocking on the 1st team door, not just some of the lads that play for some of the club youth teams that's not gd enough and the pool is too small! Each town and City should have their clubs in contact with ALL the schools and setting up during PE time and after school clubs to get the best from players as soon as possible, then watch them grow, teach health fitness the usual at your academy's but at schools as well have mini programs to start and see how it flourishes, most kids don't have a clue how to get into a football team, join which club, where? Am I gd enough? I'm not sure? Which direction from whom, is the club close to me or far away, can I get a lift etc etc, so bring it TO THE SCHOOLS! If they can get Edinburgh to be no.1 city and Glasgow no.4 city in world for tourism, at least put half of that thinking into sport especially football and grow EVERY team in what should be a VERY competitive league with 16-18 teams and get Scotland up the fifa rankings unlocking more ECL spots etc therefore more tv exposure league growth national growth and round and round. Kids can still play fir their wee clubs but bring the MAJOR clubs to the schools! Say Edinburgh split each school into kids who want to play for Hearts or Hibs then have them train together but at end of the day will enter their respective chosen club when leaving school or swap if they feel like it? Maybe try something different in Glasgow have areas that are well known just Rangers just Rangers and Areas must Celtic have just Celtic at that school and if it doesn't work mix n match like Edinburgh. If you think it wont work rubbish, I was a Jambo at Leith Academy and had no problem whatsoever with my mates just banter, it will work, maybe a bit more difficult in Glasgow but maybe that's what it needs? Who knows. Towns can just stick to its town say Motherwell for instance as most will be well fans with the odd one here and there choosing a glasgow team etc. But at the end of the day if you don't want clubs there just use clubs say are in connection and sponsoring the SFA coaching and in you, if you want to join ANY of the SF clubs when you finish training then go for it! There is much we can still do at schools but needs to happen fast! results over serbia won't come like that all the time the way we are just now, slightly better but not a team of 11 TOP CLASS players, half the team maybe. That's why we are down hovering between 40-50 fifa rankings, we should be much higher top 16 at least! Look how high USA are now? Come on eh it's not even their 6/7th sport and they are above us, football is our countries no.1 sport! Come on we can fix this we helped create the modern passing game let's do it, believe more in ourselves don't listen to media or other countries. Belgium no.1 for a while? The Belgian league is not exactly no.1 league in world is it? Why should France Spain Germany England Holland Denmark etc all be much higher than us?
