It is crazy that Justin is the most hated yet most famous and talented artist in his era. I don't see any pop artists that are releasing songs in different genres that still sound genuine. Most R&B albums are not even as good as this was not even a decade ago. A lot of people have got used to hating Justin every since he was a kid and they still do not take him seriously. He is a legend not many teen artists have lasted as long as him in his mid 20s he is honestly the only modem pop star that should be respected in every genre.

Let's just admit, Justin Beiber is a great singer and he has great producers. This album is more musically sophisticated than most Top 40 Pop out these days. I think Journals has some sick grooves and beautiful ballads. But unfortunately, the lyrical content totally holds this album back from what it could be. I hope this guy reaches a turning point eventually; he could make some great music if he wanted to.

Jason poo bear Boyd is an incredible r&b songwriter I swear. I know he's worked with people like usher and Chris brown but this journals album is some of his best songwriting and producing. Justin was smart to recruit this guy as his go to songwriter. Power move for sure

This EP literally made up the soundtrack to College. Every time I hear the intro of 'Heartbreaker', the funky groove of 'Rollercoaster', the piano chords of 'Change Me', the chorus of 'Hold Tight' or the nostalgic 'Swap It Out' I almost get into tears. If I close my eyes I think of walking through Boulder campus with my headphones in, fresh snow covering the ground and tree branches, studying for my exams, working out at the rec center, getting dressed to go to a party. Justin, thank you for making the songs that will bring me back to some of the greatest times of my life- leaving home for the first time and becoming a young adult.

i'm in my mid-20s & I'm genuinely a big fan purely for his music! i'm not influenced by an attraction to Justin in the way like many teens/children. i just think he has wonderful songs that are the perfect mix of rnb & pop. His singing style is interesting coz its really diverse & emotional. Yes he sounds young in his voice, & sadly for him that limits his audience... even if he had a different personality, a lot of people just don't like that childish sound. But if you take the voice for what it is & put his persona aside, you should be able to appreciate his vocal abilities & fantastic choice of songs & genre ...& then maybe you'll stop whining like little bitches & use ur life's precious moments to feel & spread love, not hate. Do some self reflection & along the way give this guy a little fucking credit.

I get that he makes mistakes, but come on, he's 19, give him some time to fool around and be like all the other boys his age, trying out stuff and bad choices. So many other celebs makes bad choices like him, so why is he the one getting all the shit thrown at him from all angles, ALL the time?

No doubt about it, the man can sing. I like quite a few bieber songs and I blast em in my vette along with many other songs ranging from the eagles to zeppelin to kid cudi to eminem.. it's music. Everyone has different tastes, some songs that appeal to your ear may not appeal to my ear. That does not make bieber a bitch or this or that whatever else people call him, I see much envy in people, just enjoy the music you like. This coming from someone who likes a very select few of bieber songs.
