They didn’t even use his full potential at Oregon either. Only in the rose bowl did he show a bit of his ability to take over the game. Also a duck fan, and sheldon grad, I was not high on him for his first 3 years. Being spoiled by mariota, maybe that’s what I expected but he surpassed marcus mariota in almost every way. Impressive young man, I met him briefly on the golf course in Eugene and he’s still just a local kid. Really cool to see him do well

I went to Springfield High and my Millers always got absolutely whooped by Herbie and the Irish haha (we’re the same grad year. I never played in hs though) except for one season when we beat them in the regional round of the state tournament. Even still, it makes me very happy to see him in the NFL doing so well

@@Balin_James I've watched many games and track meets at Silke Field. My son played when Sheldon won their first state championship in 2002. I didn't know the Millers had beat Sheldon, they've been really good for 20 years or so. The Johnson brothers are gone now, new coaches, they may not be as good now. Those guys were good coaches.

My concern is that he is a softy. He’s talented, yes, for sure. But Bolts need a leader. A guy that will demand excellence from everyone around him. We’ll see what he can do. I wish him luck 🙏🏼

Ever hear of the story when Herbo told an Oregon teammate to STFU when he was laughing during a game/practice session ( can’t remember the exact location of where this happened) and even his teammates last year said when he’s in the huddle he’s in command, he’s the general. In regards to being a leader, he’s a lead by example QB. Not every leader is loud like a ray lewis.

Only the smart students stay away from alcohol drugs and girls during high School and concentrate on their studies and how to be a better player I never played football before never have but I was an excellent student in high school straight A's and I didn't have a girlfriend neither back in school I didn't lose my virginity when I was a teenager I lost it when I got married but it all worked out because I'm now established with a good life.

@@rmm3803 for me inconsistency is the biggest indicator of a bust from the qb position and he was just about as inconsistent as they come. Couple that with Covid and an LA team that was talented but needed time, I was leaning on the fact that the situation was greater than the player. All in all though, he's brushed up alot of his game and that really just comes down to the LA coaching staff.

@@Jaykey-mj2mp the offense was vanilla and a one read offense. That’s not Herberts fault he also had no nfl caliber WRs to throw to like Burrow and Tua. College QBs have no control over the talent the school is able to recruit and the scheme they run. Dude still was successful after having 3 coaching during his college career it just shows he’s resilient.

Choking close games has been a charger thing for the last 8-10 years, during the rivers years and now, finding unbelievable ways to lose games. Transcends any specific players or coaching staffs, they’re just a little cursed

@@akshaysundaram1836 that’s true but I really believe this is a new era of Chargers football. With the hire of Staley I think he’s going to turn this organization around and become a power house. As a Chargers fan of 20+ years I’ve never felt this way before about any coach. Just watching the preseason game you can tell the difference already with the new defensive schemes and play calling. Only thing we can def worry about is being healthy. That’s the true curse!

they’re incredibly well done. from the production, to the editing, everything across the board is top shelf. nfl films is one of the biggest reasons i’ve become such a fan of the nfl. no other sport (that i’m aware) has so much quality supplemetal content like the nfl. i can still remember watching my first mic’d up video in 2014 and loved being able to hear what players actually say to each other on field.

Big Facts. We lost 4 games by 7 points or less last year. Easily a wildcard team with better coaching. We battle for the AFCW crown this year.

As a Saints fan I still don’t know how we won that game cause Herbert balled. But all in all y’all are set to have a stellar season this year and I’ll be tuning into a lot of Chargers games. They are my Darkhorse for the Superbowl this year.
