That's actually what they do : there is a fund called ÚTÓN for promotion of Icelandic music abroad to bring back touristic incomes... Kaleo IS therefore actually not only a musical group, but also a tourism advertisement, which explains why they always record their videos from magical places in Iceland.

The Amity Affliction are an Aussie post-hardcore/metal-core band that did literally set themselves on fire (wearing fire retardant of course lol) for a music video and had to have paramedics and fire-fighters there in case. Waaaaaah! I was there! It was the best night of my life! The best most incredible night a person can experience to sit on a hill, smoke some weed, watch the eruption AND listen to Kaleo performaning live in front of you! They were filming it in multiple angles so you got to experience it over and over again! Luckiest man on the planet!

Ha! There is a constant stream of people going up to that volcano since day 1. It is a small baby compared to the violent big ones we are used to so everyone, old and young is going up there.

I personally prefer this version over the studio version. It’s like the up close and personal version. He takes you as a VIP to this amazing location to forget about any worry and thought that you may have, then blows you away with his emotional message asking to go back to the human kind we used to be, to care for each other and to share beautiful things such as this song.
