My grandma had a TON of the Lincoln logs. Everytime we went to her house to play it was one of my favorite things to build houses with them.

My favorite part was Jay's fade out and disappearance of Kris reading the insanity level of care-taking the pet rock.

The way Kris literally went from a pet rock with a rainbow wig and googly eyes to a demonic clown balloon is wild. I got whiplash at that sudden 180 degree turn.

As a 24 year old who works at my friend's plush toy company and owns many of the toys we sell (cause they're squishy and cute and I love them) Thank you for this video Kris ❤️

When I was a kid we had giant lego blocks, a remote controlled train and a Rugrats Tommy Doll. I only watched vhs tapes of Rugrats episodes we bought from Blockbuster so even though we couldn't afford cable, I instantly became a Rugrats fan watching the episodes on VHS. But I also vividly remember a lot of toys I had and being disappointed because they didn't work as advertised on TV most of the time. But that taught me to temper my expectations for certain things I buy. It's interesting how toys can be used to teach as well as entertain kids. When you're a kid you don't really notice that you're learning stuff when you're just playing. But it works.

The amount of nostalgia I got from this video is crazy! Bright lite and the Lincoln logs were my absolute favorite as a kid.

I'm nearly 70 now, but remember, clearly, wanting a gyroscope. They were being demonstrated in all the toy stores in London, one christmas. I was never allowed one, because it was a "boys" toy! I finally got to play with one when i bought one for my daughter, about 35 years ago. Another "boy's" toy i wasnt allowed was "Meccano" a construction kit, but for some reason Lego was allowed.

Fun fact: when my mom was a kid, her and a friend had pet rocks.They would pick rocks from her friend's driveway, paint them and make them beds. This was *before* they started selling them in stores. She was very confused.

My Dad had an old Gyroscope and was bragging about how good he was with it. After balancing it in his hand and make it “dance” around the table, he bragged he was going to make it jump from the kitchen counter to the table. He pulled the ripcord and the thing flew the wrong way and smashed the kitchen window!

I’m 17 and I’ve played with almost all of these really brought me back to my childhood

I totally had a barrel of monkeys as a kid. They slowly all went missing, and now we find one every once in a while in random boxes and totes.... It's probably been around 12 years since we lost the majority of them.... We have moved several times and somehow they have suck with us... They're haunting us at this point. Anyone else experience this after having a barrel of monkeys?

Regarding the gyroscope... In the 60's-70's they came with a string and there was a hole in the axle. You had to thread the string through the hole, then wind up the string before pulling on it to spin the gyro.

Man, oh man! This was an entire 22 minutes and 31 seconds of pure nostalgia!!!! I was born in ‘82, but I was a tween/teen in the 90’s, so I remember these products well!
