Because we haven't seen anything yet, not like it will be a year from now. Production costs are not seen until a year later. We are seeing the increase in Production costs from last year, plus transportation and manufacturing costs plus inflation, now, but Production costs this year have more than doubled since last year.

Before you begin trying to claim the Keystone pipeline would have created more oil, understand that the pipeline only TRANSPORTS oil, it doesn’t produce more oil. Oil companies want high prices because they make more profits. But blaming oil companies doesn’t really work for Reps politically since they’re big oil’s bitches and are the benefactors of all of those massive big oil campaign contributions. Food prices are out of this world. I'm 61 years and lived through a few national crises. But I have never witnessed such an out of control government. This crap is just insane to say the least. Let's also take this into consideration. People on Social Security got a 5.9% raise this year, then MediCare went up almost $45 per month. Now add in how much inflation is at the moment and you have all of these people on fixed incomes making anywhere from 3-8% less than what they were making last year and struggling to survive. Then factor in the rising cost of fuel, now you have people who are about to have to choose do I see the Doctor that I need to see or do I goto the store and make sure that I have food to eat. What we have right now is not only a shameful way to treat our elderly and disabled, but also a shameful way to run a country. You can call me whatever you want but there needs to be an uprising and AMERICANS need to take our country back.

I hope you've got the news by now that Biden is trying to shut down oil drilling at the Permian Basin through the EPA. Texas has filed a lawsuit. That area also encompasses New Mexico. The NM Governor fully supports Biden. Closing down drilling from there, which provides 40 percent of Americas Oil, will drive prices up to 10-15 dollars per gallon or more.
