I came here after listening to Lana's cover. It made my heart cry and wanted to check the original one. And after hearing this... this is awesome too.. can't compare both versions tbh. I see its like this.... This is a male version. How men see the pain.. they put it as if they are happy, instead of thinking too deep, they lock the pain deep inside of them and pretend to be happy and enjoying their young wild free life. But deeeeeep inside they are crying. Just like this song which has very upbeat happy music but the lyrics are heart breaking... like laughing while crying. And Lana's one its a female version. When a woman is broken hearted everything becomes a sad song, sad art to her. She cries and doesn't deny it. She embraces the pain and wet her pillows until she gets over it whether it takes months or years. Just like this cover which has a sad music matches for the lyrics ❤ both are beautiful and both will go with the particular mood. Im a fan of Kasabian now! 😊

This song sounds exactly like the kind of things I used to hear a lot 9 years ago, even though I only discovered it just this week, in 2022. It gives me such a sense of nostalgia, as if I actually knew this song back then. I wish I did, because I'm sure it would have had a deep impact on me and made those times even more special, like a lot of these songs I used to hear. Guess I'll settle for nostalgia then.
