All the 5 ladies nominated are Oscar winners by the year 2013.

One of my favourite Oscar moments of all time, love Kate’s speech so much. And love that up on that stage is Kate who is British, with Sophia an Italian, Nicole an Australian, Marion who is French, Shirley an American, and Halle a mixed race African American. All so talented and wonderful.

When you hear Kate Winslet shout, "Yeah!" you can tell that she's still that 8 year old girl looking into the mirror full of dreams and hope.

If you listen around 6:00 right after she wins you can hear her dad whistle the first time. They must’ve talked about doing something like that so she could find him but she was so swept up initially she didn’t hear the first one! So adorable. The second try made Oscar history.

I was rooting for Jolie, the Changeling was a great movie and the way she yelled at that child, “You’re not my son” felt very real and heartbreaking.

the nice thing about this is all the other nominee's reactions, i love seeing women support and appreciate other women and this was a perfect example of that

Melissa Leo brings so much heart to her performances. Welcome To The Riley’s is my fave performance of hers. Anne Hathaway is my queen always and forevermore. Starting out as a princess, Hathaway really did break out of her “princess” stage and became more amazing in mature performances. Angelina Jolie brought such a heartbreaking performance as a mother who would stop at nothing to find her child. Meryl Streep is prob the actress in that category the fellow nominees look up to. All of them are incredible actresses. Winslet is prob the best actress in her generation.
