Her fandom keeps asking to make this a single, so here it is, Katy Perry made it for us. We should give her a huge appreciation by streaming this MV. And i heard that this is a kickoff for this era, so next year we will be getting new album.

Meaning & explanation behind NTEOTW’s music video: 1. The video start off with Katy happily going for a walk with her newborn daughter Daisy while two aliens in blue are watching her closely waiting to kidnap her. These aliens represent KatyCats, stranger who Katy never see or know, waiting for her to do something even though she just gave birth and want to spend some times with her daughter and family. 2. Then when the aliens "found" her they were so excited because they'll finally get what they wanted until they mistaken her for someone else (blackty). 3. When "Katy" get into the alien ship, she was greeted warmly but they used her photo from 2010 (teenage dream era). 4. In the scene where the aliens are cheering for her "Katy, Katy" but she told them to stop and say that she's not Katy. The aliens heard but ignored and kept celebrating her as someone else. This could be her way of telling everyone that she's not Katy Perry anymore, she's Katheryn Hudson now (karenty) but people refuse to accept it and still see her as the "old" Katy Perry. 5. In the next scene, the aliens only want her for one thing only, to entertain and put on a good show for them. The audience only love her teenage dream version of herself, they force her to wear the blue wig and the put on the wiping cream tities without caring about what she wants or her feelings at all. 6. The “Earth self destruct timing” part is pretty interesting, the "earth" is suppose to be her mental state, when she was wearing her black wig and using all her teenage dream persona the countdown to the destruction of earth keep ticking heading to her mental breakdown. Which could also lead her to end her own life due to depression, so she have the choice to stop it by pulling the earth internet (could be representing her fame), so in order to save her life and mental state she have to put an end to her "fame" and the Teenage Dream persona. Note: fame also includes love by the gp and the fandom. 7. Next, she's finally out of her old self and became a new Katy, where she's happy singing and entertaining her fans, and one of the audience is not cheering when she's singing as her new self, representing people who stop supporting her when she cut her hair. However, she ignores him and keep doing her thing as she will NOT go back to her old persona because she's more happy than ever now with her daughter and family. This is only my pov so it's not 100% accurate. What are your thoughts?

I really don't understand how this didn't get the attention it so deserved. Zooey Deschanel is in it, Katy's clone, for crying out loud! I remember how crazy the internet went back in 2010, just because they looked so similar. Too bad, though, people are missing out on yet another bop, which is catchy, fun, and empowering at the same time. There's a reason why "A fortune teller told me the power's in your mind, you might see a cliff but I see a way to fly", is my favorite line in this song, after all. Smile as an album really was, a way for her to cope with the ball of emotions she tried so hard to understand. And so, out came this and other tracks, all with the same purpose. To help people find their own, pieces of happiness scattered along the way. And yes, to quote Katy Perry again: "You can catch a star if the sky is falling down."
