This is why this is one of my favorite Katy Perry songs. For awhile I just listened to the song because it was a bop. Then I actually listened and realized what she was actually saying. The song is incredibly hypnotic which allows you to be distracted from the horrors of the world.

Very very deep. Everyone in this world seems to be chained to the rhythm which symbolizes social media or trending thoughts. Most of us have fell into the life of "parrot", we speak what others are speaking, we do what others are doing, we play what others are playing, we wear what others are wearing, even those things are NOT comfortable or suitable for us. We follow everyone else's steps, we lose our own style, we lose our own comfortable way of living, we lose our own creative thinking. What are the things left? Just brains without minds, thoughts without ideas and bodies without souls. We are all manipulated, we are all modified, we are all chained to the rhythm.

Everytime i listen to this song, it reminds me of how superficial society is. Social media focuses on portraying parties and espiritually empty stuff. We try to fill the holes in our souls by purchasing more and more unnecessary items instead of seeing those in need. I am not saying we need to radically change the world. But small steps, if more people took them, would drastically reduce suffering on Earth. Think for instance about what you just had for lunch. Was there a once living being's corpse on your plate and now in your stomach? By eating animals you are causing an enormous amount of suffering. But who cares. Let's put our pink-coloured glasses on. Cause eyes that don't see, heart that doesn't feel. Go vegan to start creating a less horrible world❤

And stated that they have a plan for Katy that they're excited for. But nothing happened in 2018. You can read his full conversation here 4)Katy released Harley's In Hawaii in 2019, which was a fan-favourite, was the fastest Katy Perry song ever to enter iTunes USA Top 10. But the song wasnt sent to the radios, it got sent later when the hype died down. 5)What is more strange about this is that even though HIH was so fast to enter the top 10, the song wouldnt come up when you searched it on iTunes. Can you imagine how she was literally ahead of time?? Can anyone tell me? Gahdd. Her lyrics are full of messages and deep meaning about the world and our society. WAKE UP! Ya'll tryin' to ignore this but it's really make sense now that we are facing some of scenario that has been discused in this music video. Such a powerful/meaningful song. Ugh her mind!! 😩

Well, it's a lot of things. It's technically not super deep, but it's one of my favorite songs of hers simply 'cause it's just like points at how we stick to the status quo of society even if it hurts us little, simply because it feels safe. Change is necessary to improve. But change is also scary, so we stick to what we know. That's why the song is about people chained to the rhythm, even though they can leave at any point. No one wants to leave because they feel safe where they are, even though we all know that something ain't right about that place.

This video is deceptive and shows the sad true. At 0:11 you think she is going to a real amusement park to have fun. The rest of the video, makes it clear though she is at the amusement park from hell instead.
