Learning the ladder stitch would help your seams! It's very easy, just climb the ladder with your stitch. Under, up, through, right, under, up through, left, etc, etc. Also...for the sewing machine, the needle thread is supposed to loop on the little notch above which keeps it straight. *pats*

Oh I know why the sewing machine smells smokey! It’s probably because it’s gathered up dust inside it, and when that happens it starts to smell like a fire hazard and won’t work as well. You can stop this from happening by putting it in a sewing machine bag/case thing after you use it. I hope this helps you! :D

I uh I have the same sewing machine model as you Uhh. Two notes for how to fix that thread issue. Restring the top thread, just by following the numbers. And restring the bottom, which just means following the little guide on the spool cover

Story: Our fellow wizard Briana Pearl River has been relaxing outside by her favorite koi pond filled with waterlilies sprouting their flowers, even her sweet Jack-o-kitten & Mitten were playing with their yarn balls while her baby Dotson puppies Delilah and Sampson were taking a nap. Right before everyone was going to enjoy their picnic lunch Mitten got spooked by something in the pond water. I love your videos! Screaming boi is my new fav. I have sewing tip for you, vacuum the sewing machine after every project if it's going to sit for a long time in between uses. Having the correct tension (usually on #3), bobbin placed correctly , the bobbin wound correctly (machine wound cause you need the right tension) & cleaning out the fibers & dust will make the sewing machine cooperate more. Also, you do have to lube the machine occasionally. You're gonna have to YT that. ;)

If your sewing machine does that, re-thread the machine. take out the bobbin, and the top thread and start over. The most common issue is that one or more of the tensioning hooks that should be holding your thread isn't any longer. you may also need to clean out any extra thread from the bottom of your machine with tweezers. Also, if you are usually sewing heavier materials you may want to try out a walking foot.

your screaming boi turned out so good!!! so fluffy! The burnt sewing machine smell might be because there is a dust buildup in your machine! you should be able to fix it by opening up your machine (as far as it lets you but completely halving it is the best) and then brushing everything out and replacing any oil or grease that the machine needs. A trip to your local machine repairer should also do the trick, either way if you continue to use your machine as is, it might actually fully catch on fire and there is no coming back from that :(
