This reminds me of my older brother... who passed away on August 29, 2019. In the morning hours, I woke up at 5:30 in the morning, went to his room to wake him up, but what I found was him having a heart attack while asleep. I called my dad and we tried to revive him but it was too late... and that was the last time he'll be with us... We have so many memories, dreaming together... But then I realized that despite what happened, we all have our own destinies. Goodbye, my brother, I hope you'll always be happy.

Found this song just after my mom passed away yesterday unexpectedly from a wicked fight with breast cancer, it brought me back to a year ago when it was only me her and my little brother homeless together I drove by the spot where we used to sleep together to feel safe and finally broke down, love your mother you will never get the love of a mother once it's gone, I love you mom

This song isn’t really a sad song tbh, this feels more like a song wrote because of memory. Our most valuable asset. We are wanting to get older and more mature. But when we stop to think for once we realize we took for granted the good times. Why? Because those are different aspects of love (mercy and forgiveness are also in there), and the Spirit is love sent by the Father and offering the words of the Son. And he knows how to reach us in modern times in these kinds of ways...

My fiance and I would dance under the stars listening to this, I lost her in a car crash the year after this came out. I cant help but tear up everytime I hear it, sometimes on purpose. It hurts bad, it also feels strangely cozy somewhere deep. Life is shorter than you think, tell the people you love them as much as and as often as you can.

I feel that pain. So sorry for your loss. I listened to this with my dad many years ago. He committed suicide on new years eve of '11. Every time I hear this song I cry and remember the last memories I have of him. In a snow covered park.
