I lost my wife of 22 years on november 2nd. I dont like Christmas music, usually. But this song went through my soul. How she was able to sing that song, with its amazing highs and beautiful ups and downs is nothing short of perfection. Ive never had a song bring tears to my eyes the way this one did-and i wish i could meet her in person to tell her how she touched me so deeply. There is talent- and then there are people that make talented people stand back in stunned silence and awe. That is Kelly Clarkson. Truly amazing , Kelly. Thank you for sharing your pain with such incredible melody and grace. You deserve to be loved and appreciated far more than i believe you have been.

Such a sad Christmas song. Christmas is ALL about Jesus and Gods love. Forgiveness, is trusting Jesus as Lord, King of Kings. Only through JESUS can we Forgive and let the healing begin. John 3:16 says it best!!

This whole special is one of the greatest live recordings in TV history. The quality of her vocal all evening was on par with the greatest vocalists ever. She's that special folks. I've seen her 4 times live and only when she was 6 months pregnant at Hershey Park was she a little pitchy. She's the greatest live pop singer of this millenia so far.

Weird what life can toss on our way, as we all yearn to belonging somewhere in this world, or with someone. Nothing is so painful than finally feeling you belong somewhere and then slowly see it crumbling away, and you can't do anything to prevent it. Kelly Clarkson, Jesus, I can feel every word from the look in your eyes alone. I wish you well, and to all of those whom find themselves in this song. It's so tragic and hauntingly beautiful, and it's pulls on me like a magnet.

This might be the most heartfelt song ever written. Makes me cry every time. I walked away from a marriage of 36 years(complicated, but entirely my fault). We’ve both moved on and I hear she’s now engaged. I’m glad she’s happy and has found somebody, but God help me, it’s so very hard to let go. She held it together until the very end there...looked like she was going to cry and turned away from the microphone/camera. Broke my heart for her a little bit. As always a flawless performance, I have adored her ever since she was on American Idol especially being a singer myself. I performed an acoustic version of "Behind These Hazel Eyes" with a friend playing guitar at an open mic night in high school. Kelly is pure talent and class all around.
