How close he and Joel are is about as adorable as life gets. Fun fact: Jim Rash (the Dean) lived with Joel and his family for almost a year while he sold his house and bought a new one. It was only suposse to be a couple months but he just stayed for awhile cause it was so comfortable. God i love that cast!

I'm always surprised when someone implies such a comment can't be true. Hundreds of people work on movies. If the actor has done even 5 films- well over a thousand people. So, some of these comments are likely true. There's all sorts of staff on a film - gophers and make up people and film crew and script supervisors and prop department and extras...and they might interact with the star at some point.

I think he just genuinely thought it was amazing for a Superbowl commercial and gets super excited for his friends. Like Ken says at the end, he thought of Jimmy a lot while being genuinely happy for others as host of his own show. People like you are projecting much more than you realize

Watching the first episode of Community....You'd never guess thst Donold glover would eclipse all of them...and become the more famous and big out of the whole group. He was obviously funny and talented in the show...But he was definitely a supporting character to Joel....and now...Joel is the type of actor who'd suck a dick for a gig.
