The attitude of not being bothered for playing the one role that made him recognizable is awesome. So many actors want to distance themselves from their defining role.

I don't mind wanting to distance yourself by trying new things, but some seem so ungrateful for a role that gave them their initial exposure and career while so many other artists wait for an opportunity like that their whole life and don't get it. The worst example was constance wu who was upset and complaining on Twitter when she found out that the show she was in was being renewed. Imagine being that ungreatful. The show that gave her her exposure to do other Things as being renewed, and she was upset because the very show that gave her many more opportunities did not seem good enough anymore. The worst thing was that she was complaining about its renewal even tho she knew that for all of her co stars, it was their only gig and means to provide for themselves and their family. Insanely selfish

This guy literally holds 3 professional careers. EVERY single one of them, most would testify as being incredibly demanding to enter and sustain. Yet, he looks so happy and at ease. Did he discover an alternative path? hahaha. It would be amusing to respond if someone asks if about a fall-back if either entertainment careers don't pan out, to which he'd probably say I guess I gotta go practise Medicine now. hahahahahaha.

Okay, I didn’t find this special funny but maybe others will. Maybe some ppl will like the casual feel of story telling, but to me it seems like it had potential but wasn’t workshopped so instead came across as, well, lazy. I thought he was sharp with the audience. And he seems like a nice guy. I just think he decided to wing this and it shows. I did really like Ronnie Chieng’s special that came out in 2019. Just to not be negative I wanted to end with a positive.
