Keynote: Accelerating AI/ML Development with Open Source Software - Brian Granger, Senior Principal Technologist, AI Platforms, AWS
At Amazon Web Services (AWS), our approach to artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) is driven by our customers and their needs. Our customers want access to the latest innovations and open source software is an effective way of providing that to customers. This focus has lead to a two fold strategy around open source software in AI/ML. First, AWS has built products that bring the innovation and value of open source software to customers, with a focus on making it easy for them to configure, deploy, operate and use open source software on AWS in a manner that is secure, reliable, and cost efficient. Second, AWS is participating in and contributing to open source software that customers care about, to ensure that software is sustainable, stable, and continually innovating. In this talk, you will learn about three key open source projects in the AI/ML space and how we are working with them to make sure that our customers have the tools to accelerate their development with confidence.
