@@Jpthomas87 He indeed did concede the position. Albon did well to force him into an error by using the timing of VSC ending to his advantage. The mistake was the attempt to return on the racing line before having passed Kvyat by the entire car length. The only thing he did wrong there.

if ever and when he goes against drivers like - charles max and lewis on track, he will find what real hard racing is. Last year at british GP - charles and max almost banged wheels at every corner. thats hard racing. and he's complaining at this.

3rd best is arguable, McLaren and Renault either get a lot more out of their cars or their cars can be a tiny bit faster on their day. These 3 teams are all really making a push for 3rd in the constructors' standings though and it's great to see such tight competition even if it's not on the very top of the ladder.

Maybe even the Racing Point is the 2nd best car.

I agree! And Stroll has always been a great starter since he's in F1. Sometimes even the best, pulled off some awesome getaways in the Williams!

Stroll gets a lot of hate due to his dad but he’s really stepped up the last few years and been consistent. I wouldn’t say Racing Point are outright the 3rd best team. It’s a tug of war between McClaren, Renault & Racing Point.

Albon had pitted and gasly hadn’t so he wanted to be let go, but was frustrated he didn’t, completely unnecessary from albon and that most likely ruined his chances of a seat next year at rb

Yeah he's a true racer. I'd love to see him in a competitive car. In the Haas he has to lift and coast a lot to keep the brakes and tyres cold.

idk details andd intricacies of f1 racing but raikkonens view when he hit russel looked so shady. he seemed like he had the line just fine and then hit hard left to take russell out of the race

He's an absolute rocket when he is allowed to push. That's why he always gains a shitload of places in the first 2 laps and then loses them again due to the Haas being shockingly terrible.

@Hallison Michel Name a driver on the current grid who hasnt done that. The last time Kevin did something dumb was in silverstone to Latifi which isn't long ago but i dont remember another time in the last 2 seasons. Albon did it to Kvyatt in this race, Hamilton has done it twice to Albon, Verstappen does some crazy stuff from time to time as well. All the drivers do it. And everyone complains about it being boring because no one is racing to the limit but as soon as someone like Magnussen does it everyone calls him an idiot and says he shouldn't be in the sport!

@Hallison Michel it’s sad he still has this stigma to him. He has NOT done it more than other drivers. Plus that with the fact he is one of the drivers with fewest penalty points. Also in this video you see vettel push him off the track and no one even mentions it. If it was the other Way around i guarantee we would have seen a lot of People shittalking Magnussen

@@antonkirilenko3116 I have seen this many times from Kevin. You can see the same situation when Ocon rear ended Kevin in practice, his reacting time was like 20x slower no joke. Also when Latiffi & Gio rear ended Kevin in the resent restart crash they simply didn't compare. Kmags start are amasing, but his close racing skills is rly what makes him shine.

He turned to the left for like a hundredth of a second before starting to turn right again. He knew how much input he needed to give. Didn't even wait for a gap to build. This was the poorest radio from Albon since he arrived to F1. What did he expect? Did he want Gasly just to move and gift him the position? He didn't deserve the seat before. He doesn't deserve it now.

I think it’s because toro rosso have always let the Red Bull pass them easily in order for Red Bull to lose less time all these years while now Pierre fights as hard as he can whenever he sees Alex. I think it’s fair tho

And especially in 2019 at the start of the season you could see their qualifying pace vs. race pace was far from each other. We all know what happened in the races for Haas in 2019 but Magnussen qualified 'best of the rest' several times the first half of the season. Only for the pace to drop a few laps in.

I know it’s the car, but Grosjean seemed to handle it better when he wasn’t getting punctures.
