Most of The Commonwealth doesn't have a Monarch. It's only 15/56 of us which do, so a small minority of The Commonwealth. He's Head of The Commonwealth, not its King. William might not even be the next Head depending on who they vote for. It may or may not be William, unlike for the 15 REALMS, wherein William will be King regardless of whether he is Head of The Commonwealth or not. That is what separates being a Commonwealth nation in the association from being an actual Realm of the Monarch's where he is and holds the title of King of ___________in the 14 other nations which he reigns over. Charles III has NO constitutuional title or role in the other 41 Commonwealth countries. So, they are not the Royal Family of the Commonwealth at all. A common misconception about what The Commonwealth actually is vs what people believe or think it is.

Your mentioning that they are all equal contradicts what you are saying because using the status of 15 of us who are the minority to describe the majority of the Commonwealth would indicate that we are dominant because most of the countries don't have a royal family because they rejected Elizabeth as their Queen when they became republics. There is also at least one other member nation which has its own monarchy. Associations don't have monarchies, Realms do.

If at some future date the Head of the Commonwealth is some country's president and that president suffers an accident I wonder whether someone from one of the Realms has a moan if someone wishes him good health.
