once again the scenario is not well made. from the first shot, normally the column stops and disperses immediately. then the American tankers look for where the shots are coming from and then they try to pass on the flanks, to overwhelm the only enemy tank by their numbers. which is certainly much more solid but will not be able to shot in different directions at the same time. This is what should have happened in your scenario
