Also 0:19 the girl Nova talks. Im annoyed they put this in the trailer. This should of been saved for the film because that would of been a great surprise! Theories: Well in War for Planet of Apes the Colonel clearly expressed the virus was mutated and making all humans mute. Considering how quickly the Colonel was infected and became mute I am confused how this Nova is able to speak. So theories? (1) Nova may be a test subject for sleeping pods based on Earth and may be a last survivor. (In the 1960's film the astronauts were in sleeping pods). Perhaps this Nova was in a testing one but was not awoken until now. (2) Nova is the first or part of the Mutated Humans from Beyond The Planet of The Apes as the film established they were not mute and also had some powers. (3) The Colonel was wrong or the virus did not move as fast as it was made to believe and Nova and Her past family may have been isolated or immune to the virus. (4) Perhaps every few generations in the mute dumbed humans a new born has humanities original DNA without being effected by the virus and perhaps She is a mutant from Her own people. (5) This film is NOT leading to the 1960's Apes movies and will lead somewhere new instead?

​@@kindnessark8064Her name is Mae, Nova was in War. This is confirmed to be 200 years later or the twist, apes count differently. It's most likely it's tieing back into the OG planet of the apes. Mae is probally an astronaut. That somehow ends up in this time period. Whether that be cryogenic or an easter egg often missed in Rise. Who knows.
