The two should be immediately separated. Mimi bites Kiki longer and more often than she licks her. I think my question is justified: Is Kiki still alive today (31st July 2022) and uninjured? These cat-videos are the worst I have seen on YT so far. Most commentators prove a big ignorance of cats' way of acting. They can't correctly evaluate what they have seen.

So true. As Kiki does not have a sibling to play and fight with, she needs her mommy's company. She looks sad when her mommy leaves the box after cuddling.

Those of us that have kitty cats and dogs know there are things that the parents teach the little ones. They're not adults. They aren't their children. Seems only human beings like to hurt their children intentionally Don't you wish people would just say it's all good. Kiki is so tiny and so funny and very enjoyable. She was bored to kitten tears and is really getting into this idea of have a little nosh, hit the road jack and get outside of the box and see what's out there in her expanding world. Every good cat knows that they have nine lives. How do you spend one of those lives if you don't get out there and make an effort.Ha ha Mine range from 16 down to about two. All different types and styles. Only one or two is almost killed themselves by mistake. But a lot of times you begin to wonder ha ha

I think because Momma lost the other kittens, She can get Overprotective, as Kiki is starting to get more independent. TBH, sometimes She gets a bit rough with Kiki. There could be many things goin on there, confusion with losing Her other babies, Overprotection of Kiki's growing independence, and maybe even anger, from Her loss. I might be seeing too much into it, I don't know, but it makes sense.

@@viviennejordan215 I think mom is rough because Kiki needs a few lessons . If Kiki had a sibling they would play with her. She doesn't have any so mom has to teach her "life skills for cats". When kittens play together it gets rough at times. Mom may be trying to. Deveope her skills. Just a thought. I had 3 kittens I watched play and they learn their skill from each other. Kiki is by herself, but remember all kittens learn life skills from mom. Even how to use the litter box. Mom is the teacher. Just a few thoughts.

Yes, Pat, I agree. That makes So Much Sense, Better for Kiki in the end, but I think Mimi can get Too rough, especially as Kiki hasn't bn at top strength, and is still very young.

@@patreese4616 I agree here as well! I wanted to add, as kittens grow, things between mom and the babies change. In addition to teaching her How to be a Cat 101, it looks like Mimi was making sure she used the bathroom before she had her meal, (hence why mom cats lick the kittens around the butt area lol). But when the kittens get a little older, they want to play and be feisty. With all that unused energy (since Kiki is still recovering), mom's gotta lay down the law from time to time! I'm glad they were being monitored anyway, though, just in case!

Someone born with a weaker heart like Kiki; "not being able to breath" could be very bad. As a cat and led by her motherly instincts, Mimi is perhaps trying to make Kiki stronger to survive as an adult cat. She does not know the real reason why Kiki perhaps seems weak to her... Please keep an eye on them both as you have done. There might be new challenges to come for them , no matter how lovely they both really are.

@@heidijokinen9428 Observe also this: Mimi holds her down like they do when they catch prey. Mom may be starting a few catch and hold the prey moves. Re-look and look from that perspective. If Kiki had sibling they would play the hunt, jump on and hold her down. She's mom. Lessons for the hunt. Just a thought.

Heidi: Yes and I don't find it amusing. Mimi is too smothering and rough. I have seen many adult cats teach calming by pressing their paw into the kitten, harmlessly but firmly: to calm them down and establish obedience. But Mimi is out of control. She's smothering her baby; why are the owners not separating Mimi from Kiki for a few hours each day, and ⁰teaching Mimi gentle techniques.

Yes but Kiki is having problems to turn when she is on her back and that is because her short legs, the owner should be helping her with some exercises for that and not only playing with his finger, I keep telling and telling but he does not seems to pay attention, probably he knows better!!!!

If you read carefully I said: "not ONLY playing with his finger" if I dare to give my advice is because i have a lot of experience, I am part of an animal rescue team in my city and we work with Vets. In the first place the parents cats were too young to couple plus a diferent of races that is why the kittens died or were borne dead only Kiki lived but with a lot of problems, you only say : " oh how cute, oh they make my day, oh how lovely" only thinking of you and you, never stop thinking if it good for the animals or if it's good for the interst of the youtuber only!!!!!

She's getting a lot stronger, rolling over, and sometimes a lot quicker. Strengthen up Her muscles, and maybe lose a bit of that middle tyre, lol.

I think mimi is teaching kiki how to fight, if she has other siblings it will get covered but cz kiki is only child, mimi is doing the work of making her tough as well as being affectionate.. She is young but she is amazing mom 💓
