If NBA teams would only put more focus on keeping players like Klay healthy in terms keeping ihim isometrically flexible with balanced muscles, he wouldn't be injured. He is not a sprinter so an achilles injury is from muscle imbalance and a lack of flexibility. I actually tore mine after spending months working on gaining ankle mobility… working on dorsiflexion of the ankle because everybody was talking about how great it was … I’m a soccer player and I was told ankle mobility was often an issue with soccer players that’s why I started . But nobody told me actually gaining strength throughout that whole new range of motion was key aswell. Calf raises with slow eccentrics through the whole range of motion is the way to go to prevent this people. But the thing is tendons only grow stronger with weights. Heavy slow eccentrics . I wish I knew that before doing all this mobility stuff.

I don’t like the GSW but imo Klay is the real MVP of that team. Without him there’s no Steph. Without him there’s no 3 chips in GSW. I wished the Lakers could’ve draft him. @@johnnydykstra729 ok so when you average 32 ppg means you’re the MVP of that team? Tell me why Lebron goes off and averages 30+ for years and people and the press rips him for being selfish and not a team player but when little Steph does it he’s the team MVP and is a leader. It’s not hard averaging 30+ when all your shots are 3s and that’s your only game. He’s boring asf with his ugly looking form 3s. He looks like he throws up Hail Marys and it goes in. Now if it was Rat Allen 3s now that’s a thing of beauty to watch. Steph NAW. Klay is the MVP of that team. He got hurt in 2019 and the Raptors capitalized and Steph couldn’t buy a 3. When anybody exercises there muscles wear down and tear, therefore you feel pain after a hard workout. We get stronger because new muscles grow over the worn and torn muscles. When muscles don’t heal probably and you move with such explosive speed, like most NBA players, your muscles can just rip completely. Klay’s Achilles was probably taking a beating from over working and couldn’t probably heal properly so it snapped. It is always recommended to take breaks in between and work out other muscles so you have time to properly heal. Most NBA players don’t have time for long breaks so they just push through. Hope this helps
