Making copper sheath dagger from W1-7 high carbon steel, sheath and handle made from copper. There I try to show all steps how to make this knife in the video.
00:00 - cutting sheath from copper pipe
00:28 - cutting blade blank from steel W1-7 plate
01:10 - milling suface of steel blank
02:35 - shaping blank
03:31 - milling the fuller
04:19 - making bevels
05:09 - hardening and tempering the blade
05:51 - surface grinding the blade
06:54 - sanding the blade
07:40 - seting the copper handle and sheath
08:37 - grinding the ends

This is amazing, it looks so simple yet it is one of the most elegant designs I've ever seen in a knife. So symmetrical, avoiding any unnecessary elements, this truly is a masterpiece! Great skills, I loved to watch this video.

I wish you had added some grooves to the sheath/blade so it would go "click" when pressing into the sheath... thats maybe just my own bias. Extremely nice looking dagger! Simple but gorgeous. Love it

An amazing show of craftsmanship and a simply beautiful design! Very space age and sci-fi yet also grounded and ancient in its construction. Feels like something that could be used by the sci fantasy warriors of Dune or the grounded, realistic marines of the Expanse. Overall and awesome little design, and most definitely earning of the like button.

Nice work, the design looks stunning but it's completely impractical. One light stab and your fingers will slip off the handle and get cleanly sliced off by the double edged blade. Getting shivers just looking at it :')
