He does use a cut off wheel for his cuts which is actually the harder way to do it.

Лезвие режущей кромкой упирается в нижнюю стенку рукоятки, и будет тупится.

That was pretty slick, using the drill press as a lathe and using the cutting disc as your knife.

You've gotten to be quite the surgeon with the angle grinder on the button screw head!! Most impressive and Brave, Koss. Nice little slider and love the patina. Always loved the bare metal aesthetic, and the simply utilitatianism combined with complex designs, sounds like the blade could benefit from some silicone lubricant tho

nowadays it is very difficult to find a knife maker who forges his knife without grinding. I know the use of modern tools produces quality knives, so I conclude that knives made with modern tools are like photo printing, whereas forged knives are like paintings.

Интересное решение для фиксатора. Думаю, можно было бы улучшить, сделав не завинчивающуюся, а нажимающуюся кнопку.

I would suggest one thing ; clean all the rust and dirt off the steel first with the sanding belt, or even just rubbing it on the floor, before using it on your surface grinder. Your precision grinding wheel will thank you.

okay Koss I challenge you to make a knife... but only using scrap material from previous knife builds, I would prefer if you don't do canister Damascus, just so it will make the challenge harder, but you may do as you please if it becomes to hard good luck :)

I wonder if a knife like this would be legal in areas where gravity knives are banned since it cant be rapidly deployed (knive has to be manually locked).
