This show debuted 38 years ago. This same show ended 34 years ago. A remix of said show uploaded just a month ago already has 15,000 views. Goes to show that even after all these years, Knight Rider is still loved. If there is ever a show from the 80's that could make a return in Its original form, but just in our time, it's this one.

This is one of my favorite shows in the 80's. I have the entire series on DVD. It's 2022 and I still watch it. K.I.T.T. is still the sexiest car, IMO. K.A.R.R. is gorgeous, too. Yellow is my favorite color but I think the red scanner lights on K.I.T.T. looks better against the black. This song works with this show. Awesome remix.

The Knight Rider is the best movie/ T.V. show theme EVER, I instantly loved the music the sec I heard it some 38 years ago and its been my ringtone from the time before smartphones were invented and still is till this day. I have all versions and now I have this one........listened to it in my car the other day and WOW, GREAT JOB..........none of the versions ever gets old no matter how many times I hear them.

Devon Miles played by Irish actor Edward Mulhare was born in my Hometown of Cork. He actually went to school with a neighbour of mine. He died in California (1997) & is buried in St Josephs Cemetery here in Cork Ireland

To me, Kitt is by far the sleekiest and sexiest car that I'd love to own someday once I have the money to buy one, even if it would be a replica, the design is simply way ahead of its time and the theme, like the Airwolf theme, is nostalgic and immortally timeless. Simple but eternal. They don't make magic designs like this anymore.

Everybody is realizing that the decades surrounding the 80's had a style for music, television, and cinema that gave people hope and a sense that life was worth living. We as a society have to return to the decades from 1970 to 1990 and figure out what it was that made them special and bring them back. I believe people had a sense back then that with morality, scientific innovations, and with a good enough working society, there was going to be a progressive future; but somehow since the 2000 onward that hope seems to have disappeared.

The internet and most notably social media happened! I truly believe this has played a huge role in this. It’s promoted a lot more cynicism and a toxic culture unfortunately. You would think it would bring people together more but it has divided us in a lot of ways. These communication streams have been hijacked and used by quite a significant part of the population to promote hate, fear and cynicism. We need more love, empathy, acceptance, tolerance. Also we need to truly listen and try to understand one another.
