I had never seen and haven’t seen since someone get under Jokic’s skin and bother him as much as Dwight did. He was just as big and way stronger. A literal pest for Jokic to deal with

I blame the Nash signing more than anything. In fairness to Dwight even though he didn’t play at Orlando level, he should’ve won DPOY that year leading the league in rebounds and blocks on a bum shoulder. The scrutiny of him playing in the LA market did him no favors in voting.

I understand what Kobe was saying but also when in business it's taught to people that the best way to break ice is to not start of talking about work. Maybe that's what Howard was trying to do. I mean if I was coming to a team I would try to brake ice we can still hit gym at four am after I ask you about the city. Even in the military we would break ice when going to a new command by speaking on fun things to do than slide in convo about how's the CO and XO. To each its own.

Bruh….THEY PLAY BASKETBALL. All that other stuff Howard talking bout is irrelevant. When u talking to a GOAT the only thing on your mind is how you can become a GOAT in your own right or close to it…That’s like you getting traded to Chicago to go play with jordan and instead of trying to figure out how we can grow as a team, u ask him where are the most popular massage parlors so u can get a happy ending. U were in the military so there’s no comparison. Who the F**K wants to talk about their CO begin with is beyond me!

The age difference everyone…Dwight was just like all of us. When we hear about LA we think lights, camera, action, and the glamour. That’s like asking a freshman to have the same mindset as a senior…of course not
@sapperEvO3 місяці тому
Age difference? Kobe at 18 which is far younger than Dwight was when he joined the Lakers had the same drive as he did when he matured. Jerry West said Kobe’s workouts were insane and that was when he was 18. From day one in the league he was consumed by the game. A.I. said it best. “When we was in the club, he was in the gym.” And that was 21-22 year old Kobe. Kobe was younger than Shaq and called him out on his work ethic. Yes you get mature with age and maybe start to make more logical choices but in this case it wasn’t age difference. Kobe was just Kobe young or old. Cut from a different cloth.

@kb55092 роки тому
That is absolute bollocks. From day 1 he was working like a dog around the clock, there's multiple former teammates and staff who've said so as early as 96 and 97. He released 1 song, when bottom and f the bench players were doing albums and 4 years before any allegations. And the majority of his beef with Shaq was about work rate. How people can just make up random stuff is beyond me...
@kirio10382 роки тому
@@kb5509 maybe your young and dont remember but in his younger days he was like all the rest of the nba stars back then. I never said he wasnt a work horse. What im pointing out is the hypocrisy of his judging dwight for asking about things that he used to be into until the rape accusations.
@thefreakyrobber02 роки тому

@kb55092 роки тому
@@kirio1038 he went out more than he did later, that's what young people do. Particularly when they get to Tue league at 17, and particularly when you don't play that much for the first 2 years. Dwight was 26 when he got to LA and massively experienced, Kobe wasn't doing any of that when he was 26. And he released 1 song at a time when everyone in the NBA was rapping, I don't see what the point is. That has nothing to do with allegations, he was a young person doing some of the things young people do, despite practicing more than any other basketball player. He was still outworking everyone in the league, so clearly he wasn't like every young player. There's multiple problems with what you're saying. First, if as is mentioned here Dwight's first and or main priority was about nightlife and producers, then that's not hypocritical at all. Kobe did some extracurricular activities, but his number 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 priorities were always basketball. Second, Kobe was older when Dwight got there, and with the benefit of experience he knew players mainly interested in those kinds of things were not going to be particularly useful in getting rings. Third, it's Dwight Howard. Despite very impressive attributes, he's been kicked around the league on an almost annual basis for a decade, mainly because of his personality. He's annoying, childish and cringey. Not the type of person you want to go to war with. You're putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 87.
@tellemgangbang65402 роки тому
@@kb5509 age got nothin to do with even if Dwight had told him that at 20 he would've thought the same thing, first time talking about teaming up and he brings up celebrity's and producers, it's principal of the conversation.
