Everett Cox I would leave it the way it is or put in the ever reliable 525’s. I would have it for pleasure. But I will never own one so a moot point

@@swaggerjacker1482 I think that boat weighs around 12000lbs and at that weight it would be bog slow with 525s. Not only that, you would kill 525s very quickly getting on plane, plus the Bravo1 drive as well. A boat designed for high speeds needs a propulsion package that would allow it to do that without damage. My least powerful engine and drive package on the V bottom would be 1100/1350 engines and either Merc M8 drives or Arneson #6 shaft drives.

Word. Is why my first sentence was “I would leave it the way it is”. I will never own one (damnit) to have to worry about what power plants to use......

@@joevento1170 Mercury Racing has naturally aspirated 860s on sale to the public now. I would assume that engine has forged internals for strength.

This boat is a 50' STATEMENT Passion cat and has two turbines@1500hp. You've never seen an OL with that wrap job.

@@jonerikjohansen731 If you look at the front of the STATEMENT, the air intakes are on both sides of the tunnel. Not so with the OL cat. Also the tunnel is completely different from the OL. Not the same boats.

This is an old comment ik but I think the catamaran boat would go anywhere from 50-70 grand. The cigarette boat might vary from 40-55 grand. There really pricey
