Cant help it but when he said that they know good hiding spot is difference between win or lose i instantly remembered every hiding spot they removed over the years so hiding spots are not that much worth it if its too strong they will remove it.

I really like their focus about how to anti toxic things. In my pov i’ve been play r6 since Year 2,So when they update about reputation thing. I think r6 is really good example for anti - toxic social game on FPS now. When u got more good reputation u get. random people that has teamwork skill more than before, good communicate,sportmanship That’s really very good.

When they said a PC cheater is banned and can’t play on that account, it makes it sound like what Fortnite does (IIRC) where for cheaters they get a hardware ban.

One small feature I’m very happy with is the trajectory pre-visualization. It makes the game so much more accessible to new players (especially when other games have already been doing this), and helps prevent that annoyance factor of missing an important projectile spot because you didn’t pixel practice your swing and timing.

Ive noticed that R6 mobile has a ton of stuff that was hypothetical for pc/console, and now they’re implementing certain skins and mechanics! Not a bad thing, siege mobile is actually almost spot on, and gives a nostalgic feeling (with stuff like bullet holes)

@kudos I think Greek Operator could be Kure Galanos, since she used to worke with Gerald "Deimos" Moriss and she influced Glaz's Scope. And for the new weapon, I think she might have either a new Sniper Rifle or a new DMR since she used to be a sniper.

Good job smooth brain....Classification for a recruit and a rework as a new operator when they had the resources to spend it on both a rework and new operators. People like you talked them down from 8 ops per year to 4 ops per year and now made it 2. You make their job so much easier to pump out less content each season.

The riot shield rework was made specifically to set the ground mechanics around black beard’s shield. Most likely going to be ballistic glass as well as have a “latch port” that opens for the barrel of a handgun. Going to have tighter than usual hip-spread. Black beard will be the only shield operator than can shoot while behind the shield. Now this is the trade off of having your shield be shattered like Mira’s windows. Could be done by a melee, explosives or after the major health pool of durability is dropped with gunshots (that will be the suppression effect other operator receive as they take gun shots) If the shield is shattered, black beard will still be able to fire but he will be shooting blind or he has the option to ADS like the other shield ops, giving him a clear line of sight but the trade off of being exposed.

Them talking about wanting to do balance changes quicker and respond to the meta faster just to have us wait another 3 months for some near-spreadsheet balancing... I don't complain that often, but I don't see why they are waiting to implement the Fenrir and Solis changes. Implementing balance changes asap is how to actually make balancing more responsive. Spreadsheet balancing shouldn't be a "feature" of a season. If they were to implement these proposed changes for s2 now, they would have more time to come up with a response to the meta that emerges from those changes

My only concern with this is that the reputation system seems bugged. I was consistently lowered despite not shooting a teammate or destroying a friendly gadget.

Honestly I’m glad there aren’t new maps very often most of the recent ones I either hate or struggle to learn. The way I play games and most people do statistically is I take breaks and play multiple games throughout the year almost nobody fully plays siege and every time I get board of the game and take a break I come back to a new map and 1-2 new characters this is extremely off putting and makes me instantly dislike the experience. I can easily learn the operators but since I’m constantly buying new characters I’m always out of renown since I take these breaks and never get a bunch saved up. But maps are a pain to learn

I like the rework for recruit, but I like the look of the current recruit and I hope they don’t change him

everything in Y9 is what i've always wanted to see in siege. most competitive game have this and finally they're going to have it as well. especially 23:10 onwards

I'm a little bit annoyed because they said they're gonna go from 8 to 4 new operators so that they can do the reworks (remasters are basically just real reworks) of problematic ops...they never really fully reworked an operator besides Tachanka and now they changed the name to "remastered" to make it seem like it's something bigger than just a basic rework and use up 2 of the 4 remaining operator slots to implement them... Sure we already have enough operators but I (and I assume many other players) would still like to see my country (Switzerland) being represented in Siege...with only 2 new ops from now on (and the fact that countries already in the game can be chosen again), I can more or less say goodbye to that wish. Also it means even less new playable content. Sure all the quality of life changes sound great but they're nothing that's gonna keep me hyped for a whole season because I won't be able to actively use them

i hope that the blackbeard rework makes him works like ready or not shield where you can have a primary, secondary and a shield

New american operator could be the guy deimos killed, didn't see it happen and in most of siege, we see the deaths happen. Azami's boss, Harry, Ram's sister etc... but we don't see deimos' teammate being killed. We only hear the shot... that could be a very interesting story. Deimos and the keres legion have the upper hand on rainbow but then he comes in and helps rainbow win...

Can't wait for the Ash rework in season 4!

a system ban works off a ip off the device the account is on so if the account is on more then one pc then all the other pc's will be affected assuming thats how there gonna do it also an easy way to get around the pc lobbies with console mnk would be to go into ur system settings and turn off cross play but thats not to say they make it require u to have crossplay on to open the game

It could be much more than system bans with the machine learning and AI your virtual fingerprint like how you move your mouse and keystrokes are unique to you. AI can detect you within 5 games even with a new PC or new account. It's like banning the person instead of the machine. A lifetime ban on your digital fingerprint could be devastating and make it way harder for hackers to develop hacks since they may not be able to access the games. This tech is right around the corner if not already.

I'll be honest, no new maps is fantastic news. Remembering all the map layouts and call-outs is soo difficult now that I can't spend as much time on the game, I'm glad they're not complicating it further.

Confirms for me that R6 Mobile is actually not just a game but also simultaneously a way for them to test reworks and new ideas without pissing off main game players and without using as much resources since it's a smaller app.

Please let us keep Recruit’s current uniform; he’s one of the few operators that has an actual SWAT type uniform like how Tom Clancy originally intended before Ubisoft ruined everything.

Disagree with Kudo's dislike of the Mousetrap change. This is literally the 'Taste of your own medicine' style treatment. I was a ps4 plat that moved to PC due to XIM, and ended up dealing with PC cheaters after getting into the higher elo. You have to tell me the downside of this outright. You buy a PC for better specs, and the XIM is a horrible spoof compared to actual computers. Nobody's going to willingly bring a XIM into an actual PC lobby unless they're masochists. The quality of spoofer device you would have to buy in order to get the consistency of a non-edited device would just be the price of a PC, making your brain smoothbore.

Thermite shield. Drone training mode, there's where I would see the previs stuff, not in a match.

So i like previs, but i dont think they should add it. Mostly because when it applies to throwables such as c4 and greanades, previs will give a large advantage to defenders. Especially mira, literally no one will be able to stop mira from getting a free c4 kill at the start of each round as long as she places one of her windows near the ground and puts a hole above it. I doubt there will be a counter, because by the time you see the mira window, a c4 will have landed at your feet.

Hopefully they fix the bug where you get disconnected out of a ranked game and can’t reconnect at all. Feels dumb to get bad for something you can’t control
