I love Yuqi with this hair style and minimum makeups, no need to mention her insane vocals, our girls again proved they are the best of this generation

I'm honestly tired of so many people out there thinking that Yuqi can't hit high notes. Her vocal texture is deep and dark. So are singers like Adele/Lady Gaga/Pink etc. That doesn't mean she can't belt high notes that most of us average girls can't dream of belting without years of vocal training. Yes she cannot hit notes as high as Minnie, but here in this song she hits C#5, twice in a row, without using head voice. In most of gidle songs, she manages to sing notes as high as Miyeon (they often sing melodies of the same verse/pre-chorus/chorus so it's very easy to compare their notes). But Yuqi just sounds lower to our ears because of her dark vocal tone. E.g. Listen to songs like Moon, Hann (alone in winter) etc. Yuqi hits that C#5 note together with Miyeon and Soojin for many times. These three seem to have a similar upper range (they all love this C#5 note lol), while Minnie has the Top 1 highest upper range. I know, I know high-note belting is not the only criteria for being a good singer. But let's face the facts and give Yuqi credit where credit's due. She is not someone who can only reach very low notes - although that is already impressive in itself. She has a very wide range that will only get wider and stabler in the future as she continues to improve her vocal techniques.
