Well Romero is twice his size bruv.. obviously he has to create distance between himself and romero and plus.. he’s taller so it wouldn’t make sense to rush in just to get ankle picked and then have his face bashed in. Both are remarkable fighters and honestly the fact they were paired for a fight in this way is a spectacle to watch. What a great fight

Just realized how the ref tried to make them up the ante. Kudos to him. I remember Romero complaining that all Izzy did was to run. Romero was the one who refused to engage until the fourth round. By that time Izzy knew he was leading and could afford to be evasive.
