wolves don't attack each other. I tried to bring some of mine to the mountain to gard me while I'm mining, but I got like 2 other untamed wolves on me and my guys just wondering around like your wolf. if you look closely at your tamed wolf he just look at you getting beaten up. the reason you didn't the one that kill you because it despawned after you died

2 star wolves despawn at night and taming them is as nightmare. You have to keep their offspring which are not bugged

2 things mate, you had 11 left because the tame wolf killed the first one giving you an extra raw meat, and you were encumbered after you respawned because you didn't equip your belt

Just like farming pigs, if you also get a higher level Wolf 🐺 like a lvl 1 or 2 and both are as such, you will in essence keep breeding that level Wolf as the new spawn offspring.

you get old enough you figure out that your friends are not that friendly. they get weeded out and culled till you have just a couple that you like hanging out with. easy method of knowing which ones to cull, if they don't like bourbon or like Your bourbon too much, they're history.

One thing that was supposedly going to be mentioned (according to your statements) - and never was - was how long it took to tame the wolf. I LOVE your videos as I am a recent Valheim addict and started with your 50 steps video! I learned a LOT. Do you have any idea on how long the tames took? I know it was a long time ago, so understand if you don't remember... My tame took 3 days as the Graylings kept harassing the wolf pen and he nearly broke out several times.

Hey all, friendly heads up if you build your wolf farm in the black forest once you get it going be prepared to be raided by non army enemies. At least 1 troll and a pack of Grey dwarfs. Each time I got my farm going it was raided by said enemies so have your base well defended!! I only have 1 wolf left and my farm has yet to be raided. But I've built it up twice, 2 wolves and 1 cub and it got raided both times.

This is my problem I made so much progress with my wolves I have 2 adults and 8 cubs because the pen that I created was big the problem is I got raided by a troll with shamans and brutes and before I can even kill the troll all my cubs were killed if only they were adults wolves that troll wouldn't stand a chance next time I'm gonna build next to meadows

lmao! omg thank you for this! managed to trap two wolves in separate pens and threw in about a dozen raw meats and sausages for each. I've been checking them, or rather that their pen fences haven't broken, every few days for the last month (in game) and they're only at 50%(ish) had no idea you had to wait there or be in the general area with them to tame. and here's me scratching my head wondering "why is this taking so long!" hahaha Thanks again. 🤣😁👍 One random question, if pets take damage can you heal them somehow?

try this with a lvl 3 wolf it takes forever because they will only spawn eat and breed at night took me a few hours befor i even saw little cubs

Good video, wolves are a pain in the ass to fight. I need more info, so can I have my own pack to help defend me, do they heal if injured, can they travel with you on a ship, can you set so they defend a base…etc etc

I wonder when you get them to follow you and they help fight, how easily are they killed by enemy mobs? Also when you got one following you and its low on health can you like feed it so it recovers? Or will it auto recover with time? I'm not ready to brave the cold but if I ever see one near the outside of its biome I may try to build up quick and just run in & run out to try to catch it!

Again same with boar tameing or those big things just make a indestructible pit/raised wall u can just runjump em up and to get em in make a slight ramp and after your wanted thing s in raise the ground , this is also good with someone else together and also to get the breeding started make a 2nd pit nearby so when booth are tamed just connect the holes.

Sausage, Cooked Meat and fish will boost your health to 161 temporarily and give you a ton of stamina. Sausage uses entrails(droughr), raw meat and thistle. Fish is a little harder to come by but well worth it.

try using the Abyssal harpoon while you are in your boat. I dont remember if it uses stamina while navigating tho

Try to build a wooden stairs and then a floor near your boat (So the stairs are ABOVE the boat). Then go up the stairs and onto the boat, the wolf will follow. This worked with transporting the wolves on a boat but NOT the Cart (we tried lol)

Tried to transport a tame boar last night. Pushed it into the boat from a over hangin construction, but the damn boar just jumped into the water and swimed a shore.

Wolf Training Addendum: June 22, 2021 I decided to go with a Pit Trap dug near my Mountaintop Base. Night 1: Trapped a 1 Star Wolf, Taming completed over the next three nights. Night 5: Accidentally Trapped another 1 Star Wolf in Pit with my Tame Wolf. I was afraid the two would Fight It Out... NOT SO! Wild Wolf began Taming Immediately! Night 10: Had Two 1 Star Wolves and a 1 Star Cub in Pit!!! Night 14 (or so) had Four Tame 1 Star Wolves... Dug Ramp and led Four 1 Star Wolves into Base and reset Wolf Pit... Still working on a 2 Star Wolf capture. 😁👍

They do get hungry so you can feed them. I'm not sure if they can die of hunger but if they can it takes a LONG time as I haven't fed mine in ages! haha

One thing for your videos you should do is just record it al then cut out the wait and you can make sure you dont miss stuff that happens. I dont know why youtubers act like videos are live why do they not do good editing or get ready before recording. And its a video you can rerecord if you mess up. Other then that ok video on the info.

Why don't you just put a door on the pen, it won't break more than a palisade will, that way you can just open it and close it.🤨😊 And you called the wolf a dummy for attacking the fire at 13:05 and you ran into the pen without jumping and died.😆 Dang, why don't you make the pens bigger, ur pens are too dinky.🤦🏾‍♀️
