Sorry to see her go. But IMHO Eva gives to much power to the coterie if used to her full potential. Ian im not referring to combat but to sorcery. If she got seven carna witches together they could technically be an autarchy an independent unalligned unit in LA like the Giovanni and offering servicrs to the cam and anatchs just like the nos do.

Also, with so many powerful characters on the side of the Camarilla (and an appearance of one ridiculously powerful character in the latest episode - won't spoil any further), anarchs are certainly in need of individuals like Eva.

@@mynkir-sol2150 I call it that, as a kind of throwback to some of the movies we got back in the nineties, that usually portrayed 2 police officers who were partners and had some sort of interesting dynamic with eachother (Example: Tango and Cash). I would define it as a kind of genre where two main characters have to solve some problem together, and due to their different ways of thinking, make it very entertraining for the viewer :)

I thought that the beckoning only had an effect on kindred of a low generation (7 or lower), I wasn't aware that Ramona was that low, generationally speaking. Also isn't it odd to say out of state if you mean out of country. And none of this changes the fact that Victor totally forgot about her, a Gangrel that he has been actively using to keep an eye on his interests, when he says that he doesn't know any Gangrel. He may have been lying, I suppose, but then the question becomes why?

Dave Beattie reason to lie? You don’t reveal your intelligence assets. If he know Beckett, a globetrotting famous Gangrel scholar, then he could name drop, but he might as well disavow any knowledge of knowing Ramona just to be safe. If anything were to happen to Ramona, he won’t be connected to her.

They just got done establishing that although the pattern in the oldest vampires, it's by no means exclusively them, and strangely hasn't touched all old vampires such as Strauss or Suzanne

Speaking as someone who spent 9 years 137 days in the British Army (medically discharged due to a back injury), I am well aware of the concept of need to know, and while I agree with you that Victor doesn't need to identify Ramona he can acknowledge her. There is a difference between "identifying" assets and "acknowledging" assets. Examples... Victor could have said something to the effect of "I know a Gangrel. Her name's Ramona and she looks after things for us." (Specific Identification) Or... Victor could have said something to the effect of "I know of some Gangrels, even worked with some. Those I've worked with have proved to be very helpful." (Vague Acknowledgement) Or... Victor could have said something to the effect of "I don't know any Gangrels" (Casual Dismissal) In the first example Victor identifies Ramona. In the second example he acknowledges Ramona, as well as other Gangrel who have worked for him. Victor chose none of these, instead choosing to casually dismiss knowing any Gangrel. I wonder how Sycorax will react to this casual dismal of Gangrels by an Anarch Baron considering she ended up in Torpor after assisting the Anarch movement, or perhaps more correctly Baron Victor. In my own chronicle "London's Burning" I play a Gangrel and in a recent session (a few weeks before this season was dropped on UKposts) our coterie's resident Toreador casually dismissed knowing any Gangrel, despite me being in the same room. The Anarch Baron we were dealing with at the time was not happy at being lied to, as he was well aware of my (and everyone else's) clan. Further, one of the reasons the Baron was dealing with us was because of our connection (me) to an independent pack of Gangrels, who have on more than one occasion helped smuggle us into and out of London. The pack (who have previously claimed to have "eyes and ears in both Camarilla and Anarch factions" as well as several independent groups) were not happy at this casual dismissal and exacted a heavy toll on us for their help on that occasion, though I was able to somewhat mitigate the costs imposed on me and our resident Ventrue, as she did draw attention to both myself as well as the pack we have been relying upon in that meeting with the Baron. A fact the pack knew despite not being told by me, proving "eyes and ears" on that particular Baron. Our Ventrue did not however reveal to the Baron that the pack claims to have "eyes and ears" on them, though she has told the Prince of these claims, as she aligns herself with the Camarilla. The Toreador, despite aligning himself with the Anarchs has not told the Barons of the Gangrel "eyes and ears" on them. Myself and the other coterie members are more independently aligned and so haven't told anyone of the Gangrel "eyes and ears".

Agreed. I understand the 'popular' thing is to automatically hate the 'rival' in one's favorite 'Ship and automatically want to villain bat them....but poor Chloe has literally gone through hell because of Jasper leaving that note when he could've seen that she was possibly going to move on with her life and marry that other guy. Jasper's my favorite and I understand his possible intent with that note (maybe a tiny, idealistic part of his brain thought she'd interpret the note as his 'blessing from the afterlife' for her to move on), but he should've kept tabs on her and made sure things were fine and once he saw her digging where she shouldn't have been he should've stepped in long before Fiona was alerted to her. If she hadn't gone through ghouling/torture from what the 2nd inquisition did to her AND the shock of Jasper appearing (as a Nos, however handsome a Nos he is) AND with his new vampire girlfriend at his side no less...well, things could've gone a lot differently. Remember she loved him enough to not give up believing he was still alive, and that just gets shoved aside by people who hate her because she's a 'rival' for Eva (and I love Eva and her relationship with Jasper too), but hey...Chloe deserves some happiness too (maybe she'll move on with X or someone else....a teeny tiny part of me was sort of starting to 'ship her with X >_> )

Jasper has explicitly stated that he made himself available for her and she was the one who never reached out. He is giving her the space that she's asked for. This meeting not happening is not on him, it is 100% on Chloe
