I gotta say that I like this guy! After looking at film and listening to the pundits, I feel much better today about this pick. We absolutely need better and more consistent pressure on the QB, and Latu has the potential to be the impetus that we need.

Young fella seems like a kid in a candy store right now....I really believe the Colts were set to take the CB out of Toledo as they most likely didnt think Latu would fall to them...But give the Colts credit, they jumped on that fact and perhaps got the best defensive player in the draft at pick 15.....Think about the position they found themselves in...Until their pick, there hadnt been a defensive player picked...They had their choice of any defensive player from college football they wanted...Bet Ballard couldnt believe that kind of luck..Go COLTS !!!

His injury was over 3 years ago. When he was medically retired was before he transferred to UCLA and before he had the neck surgery. He's played 2 full season with high production since then and has only missed the bowl game he sat out of his senior year.

IDK. He did have a toe injury back in HS, so he might never recover from that. 😂 His injury was 3 years ago and he's been arguably the best pass rusher over the past 2 years. He's going to be a stud. Especially, once Mathis gets to teach him even more.

@@opinionated_take Now lets not be so obtuse. Sure, he has to prove he can do what he did in college in the NFL, but to have concerns whether he can play with the "neck injury" after knowing that was BEFORE the bulk of his college play is just pessimistic foresight on anyone's behalf. It's fine for people to not know, but don't trash fans trying to clear up that worry since the medical professionals at UCLA (including the same DR that worked on Manning pre moving to DEN) and Indy have cleared him medically.
