I've heard Jack Antonoff refer to Lana as "Jimmy," in his video explaining his Bleachers song "Stop Making This Hurt." That lyric is "Well, Jimmy's on the road tonight She doesn't recognize her country" and Jack says that Jimmy is Lana. So maybe working with Jack on this song, Lana is referring to herself as Jimmy, which brings an interesting dynamic to the A&W lyrics if she's singing about herself. But that's just a guess.

Was surprised by this song coz the opening did sound like an OST to expensive Hollywood movie, and overall it doesn't sound like Lana's song. I'm glad she stills writes new types of music and tries new subgenres. The 2nd part of the song was a banger! I bet everyone twerks when listening to it :) It has UV and BTD vibes mixed with insane beats. Absolutely love it!

love this song so much, makes me think this album is gonna be a big improvement (her past album wasnt bad don’t get me wrong) but this feels like itll be a top 5 album, it sounds like the band goldfrapp at times (def worth checking out) and of course a Beatles vibe, which lana has named as an inspiration for nfr sound wise, and is also a goldfrapp inspiration for sure, love this, the second part just goes hard lol edit: “is this one of her best songs ever?” so far i honestly think so, praying for more long songs like this and Venice that take you on an adventure

Well those lyrics aren’t official and i was searching for some lyrics that matched better and ended up finding some that matched that it wasn’t saying God, if you listen closely you can actually hear it, Also Jimmy is a reference for an ex throughout her carry jim/Jimmy is used, she does this most likely because she doesn’t want us to know what ex unless she wants us to know then she would mention his actual name
