Well, when I heard the beginning of Terrence Loves You, that strumming guitar, I thought it was MTWBT. I expected like a warm, or hot (sort of like the jazzy mm she does in Honeymoon with "Dreaming Away Your Life") sound. Hot and like the beach, but not like High By the Beach XD Here, though, it sounds more like Lizzy, which is fine, but I also expected better lyrics then "Boy I like you a lot" :/ Like, it's sort of like Black Beauty, how she said she was working on it, was the first track we heard about, she loved it, had a clear picture for it, and the lyrics and sound were pristine when we heard it. This was the first track we heard about for Honeymoon, almost a year ago, just like Black Beauty, and I was expecting pristine lyrics, a huge hit that would finally get the justice Black Beauty didn't get 'cus of the leak, and while it's not the whole song, a chorus of "Boy I like you a lot" just hit low for me :( I may end up loving it, in the context of the whole album especially, but right now, I'm a little disappointed. You can't expect an artist to be great ALL the time, though, which is fine.

I'm comparing it a lot to Black Beauty, but that's 'cus it should've been the lead single for the album, and had all the greatness that BTD singles did for BTD, and Ride did for Paradise. I thought she was releasing MTWBT last, just before the album, to do a great kick off for the album start, like a reverse, of good singles and then the great. I don't know, I think I just need to wait for Friday for when the full audio drops so I can see it as a whole then. I do have to say, though, the lead singles she's put out so far didn't sound like lead singles at first, but from the sound of the other songs on this snippet, they do sound pretty good and like leads for the album, which I'm surprised to feel.
