In qualifying for the first time since Barcelona 2012 I believe. But they didn't start this way, because the McLaren of Hamilton didn't have enough fuel he was excluded from qualifying.

So I'm to young to know if this is true or not so im just gonna say this is a coincidence

@@asher9815 it was real... sort of. The result was Hamilton (Mclaren), Maldonado (Williams), Alonso (Ferrari). Due to Hamilton getting a penalty due to having too little fuel in the car, Maldonado and Alonso were pushed forward 1 slot

Also Austria, he barely missed the pole (5 hundreths to Max), and that was because he misjudged the apex a bit in the last corner I believe And potentially Spa too

You don't really gain any time with slicks on straights, it's full throttle.

@@C3lloman On exits out of the corners into the straights you do tho. He was able to put down power with more confidence.

@@C3lloman you can accelerate faster and get up to top speed faster because you can put the power down faster.

Honestly I believe this is F1's new golden generation. Some of these kids have some serious talent and are already proving themselves against the very best of the last gen. Will be interesting to see how Russell holds up against Hamilton.
