My theory of mr. hopps: mr. hopps was normal for ones and the plush got possessed for now ruby got attacked first because the one mr. hopps attacks he still cares for them for his sanity, he has to do it He attacked one that we can’t control and she died he attacked ruby next he was left in fire because of ruby before he moved on This shadow named dee said “it’s all Ruby’s fault..” mr.hopps said he has to kill her at all cost but first he needed sanity so he went for Esther || bunny is mr. hopp panda is miss bo tiger is mr. strips

So just some random theory and spoiler warning: so esther is ruby grandma, esther didnt have parents idk much abt her parents so after that she got sended to the orphanage, esther always had a bad dream over and over again and after that theres the donated toys (mr hopps, mrs bo, mr stripes), later on in the game u will meet a creature called the entity, the entity is like an angel but got send into the underground cause of a acident that cause a trouble,the entity kinda like use the plush (mr hopps, ms bo, mr stripes) as some kind off portal to the human world,and in the game u will find some painting that describes the story of a little girl (not esther), so the little girl accepts a necklace from the entity but after that the entity controls her (the story is kinda longer but ima try to make it short) but aftet that the girl kind off got burned or assasinated or idk and that was the girl in esther dreams in the beginning and the symbol is actually a medallion that u collect to get the secret/true ending u need to play some kind off a game to get the medallion each medallion guarded by mr hopps ms bo and mrv stripes, theres 6 of them and they can be found if u in some places in the game, so theres an event in the game when esther woke up in a unknown house but if u played mr hopps playhouse 1 u will know and thats basically rubys house, ima skip to the end, so in the end u will got two scenes the chase scene and the underground or idk what to call that scene, the chase scene gives bad ending u got it by completing the game without colecting all the medallions, and the true end u got it by colecting all the medallions in the true ending scene u will be send underground using the medallions necklace but not like the girl, esther used the necklace to banish darkness, so before i continue ima tell something the "girl" i talk about is dee, dee is the girl on the painting i think the entity bring back dee to life or idk, so anyways back to the end scene in the end u will fight mr hopps ms bo and mr stripes let just say esther won after that esthers used the medallion power to set dee souls rest, after that esthers thought that she defeated the entity mr hopps will not be evil/possesed anymore so she took mr hopps after that a few years later esther had a daugther named jenna i think (rubys mom) and got married by rubys dad and have a daugher which is ruby so if u see in the true ending there will be old esther and mr hopps face in the back ground so the entity now controls esther due to her old age she got controlled easily now how the entity still alive?, well the entity somehow escaped dee body and now controls mr hopps, i will stop it here i sugest to play both mr hopps play house 1 and 2 or search in google or yt for more info, this is just my theory and pls corect me if i am wrong and sorry if theres any wrong spelling, (extras: the entity is the one that donated the toys)
