If you make #2 long, it will be very flexibile in one direction but not in the other. It's kinda neat. I discovered that since I was connecting every one of those pieces I had together so they'd be easy to find.

Ok so last year I volunteered to help clean up the LEGO robots form my school. I had to disassemble the shape at 0:49 that was like 50-60cm long. It took me and a friend 20 minutes to disassemble the damn thing. Also it was dubbed “the spine” and bent a lot and sounded like a maraca when it flexed
