Let be real English food maybe isn't as good as French or Italian food, but I think if you ignore lazy stereotypes and assess the best British dishes, they are far better than Germany, which is why more people eat British dishes outside of Britain than German dishes. You are talking about Chicken Tikka that comes from Britain, Fish and Chips, Eton Mess, Victoria Sponge, Sticky Toffee pudding and the Sandwich comes from Britiain. There is a reason the biggest food show in the world is the Great British bake off. Sausage and beer isn't great food.
