0:35 - is that really true? Because I thought Docker made a (Hyper-V?) Linux VM on a Windows host and made containers there.

Well you are right in the context of running Linux containers on Windows. What I am talking about is running windows containers on windows, or nano servers as they call it. Docker is basically a operating systems level virtualization.

There are many ways to run containers on a windows host. What I was referring about was gaining access to the host which is running docker (i.e. the VMs file system)
