Papa Louie is low key one of the best flash games and one of my favorite my favorite flash games too. I remember playing it like almost everyday at the fricken after school program.

Boomer's firework pistol really helped me out when I was an idiot child playing this game. I'd always get hit by the enemies when I tried to attack up close, having a ranged attack was huge for me and helped me beat the game.

12:44 fun fact: you don’t actually need a double jump character to get over here, the gliding characters give a slight height boost at the beginning of the their glide, and it’s just enough to clear this wall (don’t think it matters for the speedrun though lol)

If you ever speedrun the first Papa Louie game, there's a cool strategy that I discovered: when you press space to enter a level, you can press the right arrow key as the screen is fading to black, and you'll actually enter the next level, even if you haven't unlocked it. You can't use this trick to enter the final showdown, because the game will glitch out and Sarge won't show up, but to my knowledge it works on pretty much every other level in the game.

If burgers decide to attack humanity at some point, I can sleep at night knowing that EazySpeezy will be ready to save humanity...

I used to play this game a lot! I have some knowledge that can help actually... I remember something about level 5, in the part where you use scooter, you can actually use Boomer! It requires a near-perfectly timed jump, but it's possible. I'll try this trick later and update this comment

The coolest thing about Big Paul is that you can spam your ground pound ability to kill Burgerzillas easily. Trust me, it's satisfying

I remember when I exploited a mission by using an incorrect skilled character, which had double jump. The mission at 7:50

I remember playing this game alot as a kid, just tried playing it again today and i forgot flash player reached its end and it was just so sad.

There is a strat where you immediately kill the mini boss by jumping in the air with a ground pounder, and pressing the down arrow three times very quickly. This causes the character to ground pound and damage, bounce in the air a little, ground pound again and do more damage, bounce in the air again, and ground pound to finish off the boss. This strat kills the boss in less than one second.

Would be cool if you upload a video explaining all the work that has to go into every one of this speedruns. Like planning, techics, hiw much time you practice and so on.

At the 5th level for the guy who you need skater to rescue you can use boomer if you time your flight perfectly

There is so much damage boosting you can use to your advantage in a speedrun of this game. There were many big strategies and skips that weren't used in this run. Such as KAE Glitch (Kill All Enemies Glitch), where you play as Scooter, and you precisely press attack and slide down a hill at the same time. If you time it just right, all the enemies around you will suddenly die along with your eardrums. One of the biggest abuses that can be used in the speedrun is just completely skipping bosses. If you enter a boss room and position yourself just past the door before it can close, you can use gliding or double jump to hug the wall and skip a part of the room that triggers the bossfight to start. If it is all done correctly, you should just be able to walk the rest of the way, and you'll just see the boss frozen in midair. There are also many precise jumps sometimes involving damage boosting that can be used all over the run to skip large parts of levels. You'll see tons of these throughout the run if you watch a top speedrun of the game.

Btw if you find boss battles hard you can bait out the door on a boss battle and use characters that can hit trough walls or splash damage

I think that's why Radley is in the rocket in 3. They probably realize how some people can just do that to one shot him. And I guess it is also why Boomer doesn't appear in 3, and why they made Ground Pound and Double Jump characters unlocked way late into the game.
