Where are you from?

Back in 2020, before quarantine, I saved someone from suicide. She became my first love and we were strong as a couple. But in November, she broke up with me because life was starting to get out of hand on her end and she told me I was straining her because I was having a hard time in college. We both cried on the day she said she was breaking up with me. A few weeks later, she found someone else and now she's happy. She went from seeing me as her hero and first love to seeing me as only her friend and nothing more. I've never had an emotional scar this big before. If anyone sees this, you can reply or you can like. It doesn't matter. Edit: To everyone reading this, I appreciate all you have said, it's been three years now ever since I told you guys what happened...so here's the update. Still single, but I'm in a better place now, because I've been working on myself and I will continue to do that to be a better person. One day I will find someone who loves me for who I am, inside and out. But for now, I'll keep working on myself. Thank you again guys. To anyone else going through this situation, keep your heads up. I think the saddest part of being abandoned by someone you cared deeply about.. is realising that they have changed into someone you don't recognise and they treat you like they never meant anything to you in the first place. That stuff hurts and this song helps me through the pain and so does my own song writing....

This reminds me of when I lost my hamster, I grew so attached to it. When it died, I went into depression, spending much of my time hanging out at the grave I made it at the cherry tree my family planted, talking to it, sometimes bringing it food. This song is so touching, I'm in the late stages of cancer and all I can think of is who's going to protect and love my beautiful wife of 62 years, yes we have three children who all live far away and they love their mother but what I mean is all the simple everyday thing that make up our lives, all I can do is pray the lord Jesus Christ will protect and guide her.

Amazing song and lyrics, really hits home. I lost my Dad on 1/19/22. The pain of never seeing or speaking to him again is heavy. Regrets of not spending or making enough time for him while he was here, and not knowing there wasn't going to be a tomorrow. Take and make time for your loved ones. My bedridden grandpa died a few weeks ago. He survived many difficulties. He is my hero.when he died i felt like part of my heart was ripped out and stomped on in the dust.He had covid, and, things were going the wrong way,but when i taped pictures to his window for encouragement, he got better.The love of his life(my great grandma) died from a heart attack when she was 56. I never got to meet her. His family dosent care about him.i always said "i love you! Bye! See you later!" But i never expected one of those to be my last goodbye.He never said I love you becasue his family didnt care. They cared about his brother. He lost a leg from falling in a driveway. I know that, when i have pain, i talk to grandpa,and be cheers me up.Now i dont have anyone to do that.Everyone was always giving me hugs and saying its ok,but its not. I was so close to grandpa. Like if you have felt this happen.When part of your soul and heart is ripped out and toorn apart.

May 28th will be 3 years since my husband died. That was 3 days before his 51st birthday. He also died on one of my sisters'birthdays. I worked on him until the paramedics got there. One of my other sisters died 8 months later after battling colon cancer for 3 years. This song hits hard.

I’ve had a crush on this boy for 3ish years and we are pretty good friends, I tell him a lot and trust him. I wanna tell him I like him but I’m not sure if he likes me; it’s complicated.
